the grounds and garden were beautiful . the staff extremely helpful

we liked everything about the property . we booked our room a few months ahead and we had the credit card we reserved it on in a fraud situation so when they went to take the final payment it didn’t go through as we had a new card. We were upset because we were not notified by anyone and only received a message from booking.com that our room was cancelled and this was a week before our trip. I immediately had to rebook and didn’t get our initial room and had to pay almost $60 more.

The bed was very comfortable and the rooms were fairly spacious and very clean. The hotel is farther from the main part of the small town than it was described on Booking. There is not a taxi service in Castellina, so we had to walk about a mile to go to dinner in the evening and walk back on a dark road or pay a private driver. I would not recommend this hotel if you don't have a car or are not willing to pay a private driver to take you back at night. The walls are also paper-thin, so we heard everything going on in rooms near us and whenever someone entered the building late at night!

The farm house is very authentic and cozy! The garden was a very relaxed and beautiful arranged. Breakfast was super tasty. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They helped us to arrange wine tours and had great suggestions. The property is located in a short walk from the village center which we really enjoyed.

There were a few ants in the room but I guess expected for a farm house.

Excellent esperienze! Great place, clean and really near at castellina in chianti! The hotel is beatiful, with a private parking. The staff is amazing! We'll be back for sure!

The hotel is beautiful and quaint. Old-style Italian Chalet. Since it was low season, we were given a choice of rooms and they offered us a free upgrade. The staff was VERY friendly and always helpful, especially when we needed to translate and navigate the results of our COVID text before returning home. It was all in Italian and very complicated. We didn't get to try the breakfast but we were told that it's a pretty standard Italian breakfast (bread, croissant, hard-boiled eggs).

The only thing that would have made this 100% perfect is if we had a coffee/tea maker in the room.

The location & setting with fantastic. With attentive friendly staff that made sure your stay was comfortable. Breakfast was great too.

Nothing just a lovely place to stay.

The room was comfortable. The location was perfect for exploring the Chianti Classico region. It was only a short walk to the charming town for dinner.

While the location was perfect for a visit to Chianti Classico, the walk to town had a couple of spots where there was no pedestrian path.

Amazing place with beautiful open area arround - all the Staff very nice and helpfull. International languages - Lady speaks polish share a lot of important local information and give us a lot of care. Reception - all information needed available [with maps, idividual care]. A lot of unbeliveble vineyards in all area - Chianti wine tasting as must. Breakfast very tasty, fit with all needs [delicious coffee and very nice service]. Rooms, bathroom sweet and very clean. Big Parking for the car available. If someone is looking for the place to take a rest and feel cared from each of the side - this is the best place to come in Chianti area in Tuscany - especially for couples :)

Nice garden and swimming pool, very kind and helpful staff. Location close to the center and clean rooms. Very quiet AC.

Our rooms were upstairs with no lift and we had a lot of heavy bags to carry as we stayed almost a month in Italy. Also the steps were quite steep. In one room, you had to sit on the toilet diagonal, because there was not enough space for legs for people taller than 1,75 meters.

staff and great location

It was such a beautiful house typical for the toscany, wonderful landscape and the small town cristallina is just a 10 Minutes walk away. Breakfast was very good and we also enjoyed the Pool and the wonderful garden.

Nothing to complain!

Beautiful location, the sunbathing area is perfect and the pool is big and clean. The room was not very spacious but good enough for us. Bathroom is a bit outdated but shower was good. The breakfast is very good, you can get al sorts of bread and croissants, a lot of spreads and drinks. The personal are all very friendly and at the reception they all speak perfect English. The wifi is good.

On our second day at the pool there were suddenly a lot of wasps.

Breakfast and the covid rules made for not such a good experience Nothing particular wrong with the breakfast just not at the same level as the hotel facilities The hotel carpark is on slopes and deep loose stone chippings. Very difficult and dangerous for motorcycle parking
