Location, peace and quiet. Owner and her beautiful family. Wonderful pool and facilities. Stunning historical village.

Great spacious and cool apartment in a perfect location for travelling around Tuscany. Giada was a friendly and helpful host, along with her family made us feel very welcome. The apartment was quiet and peaceful and we had a huge terrace we could enjoy, with beautiful views of rolling hills and vineyards.
There are laundry facilities on site which was great as we were with our 10 month old. We had requested a cot for him too, which was a proper cot all set up for him when we arrived (I was expecting a fold out travel cot so this was a lovely surprise!)
The air con is great but we only needed it a couple of times as the apartment stays nice and cool.
There are a couple of nice restaurants in walking distance, as well as a small supermarket. Vineyards and other bigger towns with more restaurants, bars, gelato only a short drive away.
The pool was very chilly!

Everything was perfect. My son and daughter and her boyfriend stayed here for 3 nights and loved it. Facilities were perfect, everything was clean and the whole building was beautiful.
Giada was so helpful and made the stay so easy and even helped with organising taxis during our stay.
The little village of San Donato in Poggio was charming and warm.

It’s proximity to the beautiful village of San Danto with three lovely restaurants makes this the perfect location.
We would have liked a balcony with a view but we didn’t specifically ask for that when booking so we’ll know better next time .

Beautiful town and location. Easy access if you are exploring and a quaint town to relax in at night. Steps from 2 spectacular restaurants and a small grocery store, in the event you want to eat in. The host could not have been more accommodating

a beautiful spot in quiet San Donato, we were there for a wedding at Le Filigare so it worked very well. the pool was lovely and clean, rooms had everything you needed and beautiful, spacious decor. The owner was super attentive, we got there too early for check in and she didn’t make a fuss despite how busy she was. Shops and restaurants all within walking distance.

Giada was the perfect host! Nothing was too much and our studio apartment was more than kitted out for our needs with some personal touches a long the way.
The location is slightly off the beaten track behind the residential houses in the rustic town.
The views you gain from it being here are spectacular.
Breakfast on our little balcony was a dream.
Thank you so much for our mini break maybe extra special but this host and property xx

The perfect balance of distance from the city of Florence. All of the facilities were clean and worked well. The family are very accommodating and I would definitely recommend anyone to stay there.

Giada is the perfect hostess and makes you feel very welcoming. She provides you with all kind of tips about the area and no question is too much for her.
The studio had everything you need, was very clean and the shower was very good (always warm water).
Supermarket at 200 metres and close to freeway with access to Firenze and Siena.
Wifi in room and swimming pool worked perfectly.
That we couldn't stay longer ;)

Everything! It was quiet which was great.
We loved the pool. Everything was very clean and in good condition. Nothing was missing.
We also liked that there was a washing machine.
The owners were so nice and helpful.
And last but not least: San Donato is a beautiful village. The surroundings are great and also perfect for biking.

The cleaness of the appartment was above expectation. It was possible to place the road bike inside the garage which is securred with a key. The appartment was overcomplete. The location is between Florenz and Sienna and there are a lot of opportunities to discover the region either by road bike, scotter or car. There is an own parking space just infront of the appartment.

Great host, such an added value, with all the advice and tips and tricks... The villa is also amazing, at the edge of the tiny San Donato, quiet and close to everything, 5 minutes from the highway.

Lovely, cosy place in the heart of Tuscany. Charming owners and surroundings. If you look for a quiet apartment far from noisy tourist destination, La Compagnia del Chianti is the best choice. Motorcyclists friendly.
