Breakfast
Room did not look like photos at all.
Room was very very hot so had to keep window open.
Room looked out onto prison like grid flats.
Expensive.

Entscheidend für mich war die Lage nahe Straßenbahn (zum Flughafen) und nahe Park. Die Lage ist hervorragend und zentral, doch es war mir trotz geschlossenen Fenstern zu laut.
Zimmer im 1. OG über Haupteingang war nachts sehr laut wegen Straßenlärm (Autos, Motorräder, Busse, Geschrei von vorbei laufenden Jugendlichen => 100 Meter weiter waren zwei große Festzelte mit UEFA-Cup-Übertragung). Die piepsende Fußgängerampel direkt unterhalb des Zimmers nervte. Kaum geschlafen trotz bequemen Bett. Großes Bad, aber kleines Einzelzimmer, eine Bettseite mit einem Sessel verstellt (ohne Sessel wäre mehr)
Frühstück umfangreich und gut. Latte Machiato furchtbar. Anfangs wenig Frühstücksgäste. später wurde es zu voll und ungemütlich im Frühstücksbereich. Ohne nächtlichen Krach hätte ich das Hotel besser bewertet.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the location is excellent. The room (standard twin room) was small and simple, I wished I could have opened the window a bit for some fresh air. The pillow was too big for me and there were no extra pillows in the room, but I still really enjoyed my stay. The breakfast was amazing, I would definitely recommend it.

Location was perfect for us as so close to train and bus station.
We had booked at Scandic Byparken but when we arrived were told there was no room for us. We had confirmation of our booking. Not happy. They wanted to put us at another Scandic Hotel at the airport but was unacceptable. We were booked on a fjord cruise early the following morning, starting with a bus from the station nearby the Byparken. That's why I'd chosen that hotel. Staff were genuinely apologetic and eventually got us a room at Scandic Ornen. They got us a cup of tea while waiting for the taxi they'd ordered to take us there. Ornen Hotel was good but very modern decore - not to my liking. Location suited us well.

The breakfast was the only good thing about the hotel.
We arrived very late at night and were given a one bedroom room when a Queen room had been booked. When I asked why the following morning they couldn’t explain. We moved to a Queen room but it didn’t have the facilities available that were stated on the website. When I asked for a refund of the difference in price between the two rooms this was refused outright! The room was very small and hot with no air conditioning at all. The bed at least was not too uncomfortable to sleep in.

When we came in the receptionist didnt greet us or even look at us! She was looking down on her tablet and after one minute briefly glanced at us and told us to wait! Not a very warm welcome and a bad first impression!
Unfortunately the breakfast already finishes at 09:30 h, so it is only meant for morning people. Would have been nice to not have to set your alarm to make it in time for breakfast during our holiday!
No airco in the room and a very noisy street with lots of traffic when you open the windows! It was very hot that day with 28 °C!

The location is perfect. There is a parking lot nearby (Not cheap.....). The room 9is in a good size. Bed are comfortable. The breakfast is excellent. Natalia in the front desk was very helpful in suggesting were to go and what to see and also recommend an excellent restaurant.

The location is perfect, the rooms are a bit small but is not a big problem unless you have big luggages. Brekfast is excelent and varied. I reccomend with no hesitation

A practical and modern room. A great breakfast and very friendly staff. They were very helpful for an early check-in at 11 am already. The location is very convenient in walking distance from the train station, harbour and tourist attractions.

The breakfast was out of this world, REALLY good; the location is good, close to restaurants and the park; the bed was comfy and staff was really nice.
The room didn’t have an extra door lock, which made me worried that someone could get into my room. There was a drink spill mark over the table and the shower doesn’t have a door, so I was somewhat cold while showering and the rest of the bathroom got a little wet.

We're a family of 6 traveling together and we requested to get rooms on the same floor so we could have easy access to one another. Our request was granted and this made our stay extra enjoyable. Kudos to the staff who made this happen. The rooms were squeaky clean and the receptionists were super helpful and accommodating. Moreover, breakfast was a solid 10/10. The breakfast staff were lovely as well. What a great experience. Thank you, Scandic Byparken.

It is very near to the bus stop from the airport and also from the main bergen train station.

They adjusted to our needs - our flight was detoured and instead of reaching Bergen in the late evening we arrived on early morning next day. They kept our reservation, as we asked them to. The room was nice - quite a big single bed, with a space for unpacking, a desk and a clear & nice bathroom.

Staff were very nice and accommodating. Included breakfast was the best I have seen in any hotels and I have travelled a lot in US, UK, and around Europe.
The room was quite small but I travelled alone so I didn’t mind it.

The staff were really polite and helpfull. The breakfast was excellent. Our only gripe was the room was not 'refreshed' for the second night we stayed i.e. not cleaned / no fresh towels / bed not made.
