Amazing location for what we wanted. Also the member of staff that was on the bar on the 5th May is an absolute credit to the hotel (unfortunately didn’t get her name).

Hardly any of the channels worked on the tv.

The breakfast was ok but powdered scrambled egg was awful no fresh banana and it was expensive for what it was. Also the parking was expensive and we was told to park anywhere when we told reception we had to park in a disabled space his response was you don’t have an allocated space just park where you can. Some people had parked and taken 2 spaces but if I pay I expect a space. The toilet bathroom is too tiny you should recommend no one over a size 16 to stay as it almost impossible ti get in the bathroom. Get safes installed I had 40 Euro in my bag for something specific which was in a small case and when I went to get it to pay for food on ferry it wasn’t there ?? It had been there 2 days previous so get safes installed

Security in the room our door was very loose it didn’t feel secure room339 the showers and bathroom in general need to be larger you need a safe installed in every room as I had 40 Euro taken out of my handbag that I had placed in a hand luggage case but it didn’t have a lock, I didn’t realise until I was on the ferry and went to get it to pay for food . The bed sheets don’t fit the bed so it crumpled up in the night very uncomfortable.

The location was brilliant. It was very clean and bed comfortable. The advantage was we were able to eat at the hotel without going out and it had a bar. I must say the staff were exceptionally helpful.

I can’t think of anything negative at all.

The room was nice The staff where lovely very friendly people in fact it seemed like a big friendly family brilliant I didn’t have breakfast though as I thought it was expensive the breakfast that is

The bathroom was exceptionally small; making sitting on the toilet difficult. The breakfast was good- lots of choice, but the cooked breakfast wasn't really hot.

At £55 a night this hotel was quiet, clean and had all the amenities you’d except in a hotel room. The bed was comfy and the shower decent. Staff were reasonably attentive and helpful when required. The location was walking distance from the train station.

The bar closed at eleven and I wanted a pint after work.

Ibis is the pinnacle of the budget hotel sector, they are the standard all others can only aspire to The decor, the ambiance, the quality of fixtures in the rooms, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff and the general accommodation offer are uniformly excellent.

The bed in the room was a little bit hard for my liking

Very tired. Needs serious refurb. But the staff were really nice and tried their best. The food wasn’t great. Everything looked like it had been deep fried. Breakfast was fine

Having to pay for car parking but I understood why. Drinks fairly expensive. Much more expensive cost to book another night 2 weeks hence.

The ironing room was very hot with no supply of water for the irons

very small room. room smelled and in need of TLC. extractor vent in shower was packed with fluff and dirt - at eye level so pretty gross to look at in shower. rm 430

Bathroom was really tight, could do with the sink being slightly smaller.
