Having to pay extra for a cooked breakfast

The spa sauna jacuzzi was good Staff very nice Vallet service was excellent

We had to pay additional money for a cooked breakfast despite the fact breakfast was included in the price . They ran out of some of the breakfast. The lift is poor - cannot easily fit a wheelchair/pram in it . You have to make sure the door is closed for it to work and if someone has left it open on another floor , it will not work ! The parking is off site so you have to walk a fair way to get to the cars , but the vallet service is excellent. The spa facilities were not working on the first day due to no hot water

Unser Deluxe-Zimmer sollte nach booking.com Beschreibung 29qm haben. Die Realität: max. 14qm + geräumiges Bad. Aber ich buche ja ein Zimmer - und nicht ein Bad, das fast so groß ist wie der erbärmliche Rest. Das Zimmerchen lag unter dem Dach und war nicht mit dem Lift zu erreichen, sondern nur über eine schmale, steile Treppe. Das Personal bot keine Hilfe mit dem Gepäck (2 große Koffer) an. Meine erste Reklamation brachte uns nur ein Achselzucken des Rezeptionisten ein. Auf die 2. Reklamation wurde uns ein ebenfalls in diesem Dachgeschoss gelegenes Familienzimmer angeboten. Als wir es betraten, war die Balkontüre offen und eine Möwe hatte es sich im Raum mit all ihrem Dreck gemütlich gemacht. Wir haben dieses Angebot abgelehnt. Ich werde mit booking.com Kontakt aufnehmen.

We had a fabulous stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble! We ate in the restaurant in the evening and the food was delicious, presented beautifully and it was a lovely experience. The beds and pillows were so comfortable and having a complementary gin and tonic available in your room is a lovely touch. Breakfast the following morning was equally tasty, fresh and set us up for the whole day. Lastly the spa and fitness suite was also delightful. All in all would definitely recommend and will be coming back!

The place is the best in St Ives for how’s look for relaxing and exciting to have a wonderful time with a sea view.

The view looking over Porthminster beach is beautiful. It’s great having a pool in the hotel and the facilities are excellent.

We enjoyed everything about our stay.

The breakfast was good for a continental but the £10 additional cost for a cooked breakfast was a a bit disappointing however the quality of the cooked breakfast was excellent and good value but should have been included in the original hotel price /cost ?

All was really nice the evening restaurant menu Seemed a bit limited but we did enjoy our meal Would have liked a wider choice of wine and no french wine was really disappointing for us?
