The room was very comfortable, the pool was very nice, breakfast was very good and more than enough! Staff was super helpful and very friendly. The welcome wine was a very nice touch ;)

The poolside bed didn't have it's cover on like in the pictures. It would have been nice to lounge on it under a nice shade. Finally, I think it would be good to check on the elevator's suspension. Also you could see while opening the doors that it wouldn't reach the floor completely.

Location was fantastic. Walking distance into the town with several restaurants nearby. But breakfast choices was limited as the town is quite small. There was medieval touch everywhere in the hotel. From the bedroom to the common area to the breakfast area.

Parking cannot be reserved, it's subject to availability. Normally parking on the street is a feasible solution. We happened to come during the week of the medieval festival, so parking on the street was out of questions.

We loved everything about the property. As steps from the entrance to the wall, the theme of the hotel is spot on, staff was wonderful, the room was amazing, great breakfast, and the amenities were perfect. A free drink to welcome us! They even surprised us with a bottle of sparkling wine since it was my husband’s birthday! Loved this place and would come back in a heartbeat!

We loved everything.

Everything was amazing - the staff was super helpful and accommodating, the hotel facilities were clean and uniquely designed, medieval theme; but all the amenities in the room were modern and in great condition. The choice of food for breakfast was really good - ham and cheeses, fruits, pastries, eggs and crepes… I probably would be able to enjoy variety even if I stayed for a week. We even had time to enjoy the hotel pool, which was also real nice

The terrace/pool has amazing views. The breakfast had so many choices. The location is so easy to access the wall entry. On-site, covered parking was helpful.

The keys- while are part of the historical ambiance- they are hard to work. I could hear others struggling in the hallway. They are also bulky to carry around.

Great pool, outdoor terrace and wonderful location and views

The staff were unfriendly and unwilling to help with simple things - booking a taxi, asking for more filtered water in the room, borrowing an iron (which they said they did not have one in the hotel which we felt was a bit surprising for a 4 star hotel). The breakfast room was not a nice experience - it has no natural light or air flow and the smell of the food sitting in the heated trays was unpleasant, the coffee was cold and stagnant in the pots. We paid extra for the breakfast on our booking but instead had to go out to breakfast

Absolutely everything. The place is amazing, immaculate and staff are excellent. The rooms are big. The breakfast spread is unbelievable. WOW!!!

I am used to slightly taller beds but it in no way affected my stay.
