Everything was close and the deals on food but closes very early

There was black mould on the ventilation

The breakfast was exceptional. The staff was friendly.

The flush in our room would periodically work to 1/10th of it's capacity and that was very inconvinient. But it would go back to working as normal so we didn't mind it too much.

I specifically booked this property and room type because I needed a room with 2 separate beds. However, 24hrs prior to my stay, they canceled my booking and changed it to one double bed. When I told them i needed 2 beds as per the room I had booked, they actually lied and told me I had never booked a twin room and they don’t have any more rooms with 2 beds (I have the email confirmation of what I booked). They then told me they had “upgraded” me to a room with a “better view”. Not the room I wanted. Only one bed, a bathroom with no ventilation as that was broken and blown bulbs on the bedside tables.

Room was very clean and the bed was big enough for us. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was yummy and cocktails were tasty. Bar staff were exceptional.

The bed was a little sunken in the middle. Probably time to replace it. Death bath (shower in a bath tub) was not very good.

Great location

We were given an accessible room even though we didn't request one, and it made the bathroom situation very messy (no way to contain the shower water- our 8 year old had fun with the hand-held shower head and the open shower!) 😀 A second chair at the little breakfast table would have been ideal too (hard to eat sitting on a bed!)

Great location, outside the hotel is the Surfer Paradise GLink station, you can get to everywhere. Location is within walking distance to the beaches, and F&B.
