Location perfect, walking distance to everything in Arrowtown. Breakfast and food amazing - fresh baking every day!!

Ahhh...! We could *live* at this cosy, spacious, well-designed and welcoming inn! So much thought and consideration has gone into every aspect of the guest's stay that we felt like we'd found our forever home. Beautiful, well laid-out rooms, all the amenities, wine and cheese upon arrival, lovely garden views... we actually enjoyed just relaxing in our largely, lovely room instead of thinking of it as a "place to sleep." The hot, fresh, generous breakfast (included) is one of the best we've been offered in NZ, ever. And just a five-minute stroll from Arrowtown's many charms. We'll definitely be back again and again. Thank-you!

The daily hot breakfast prepared and served by a qualified Chef was a real bonus. Furthermore, the close proximity to some great restaurants in Arrowtown was fantastic.

This is a hidden gem. A lovely, cosy hotel very close to the Arrowtown town centre (you can walk there!). Our host was excellent and breakfast was fantastic.

Excellent property with alot of attention to the finer touches. There were cup cakes available, a mini bar included. Excellent quality bottle of wine included. So well done.
I wished we had another few nights.

Excellent breakfast. Victoria spoilt us with bacon and eggs, cappuccino's, fresh fruit and mueslie. Xmas day was extra special, with champagne and extra's. On arrival we also received wine and chocolates.

A quiet picturesque stay with views to garden and mountains behind. A thoughtful gift of wine, chocolates and cheese platter was a lovely touch. As was the arvo tea with delicious cake AND the delicious breakfast spread by the fire. Also enjoyed the big bath!
Husband says tv was small with bad sound, but that’s not why we stayed!! Didn’t need a tv…

Very pleasant friendly service from Victoria. The breakfast was amazing. Location brilliant.
I think the shower roses need updating, and the clothes dryer did not work well, it needed restarting about 20 times to get it going properly. Might just need a service.

Location is great, room was very spacious and comfortable and Victoria, the property Manager, is a first class host who with amazing hospitality, catering skill and local knowledge enhanced our time in Arrowtown from arrival to departure.
Room decor could do with a refresh; although it certainly didn’t detract from our stay.

Amazing breakfast, Victoria puts on an amazing spread and still has time for a chat about your plans for the day. And all only a short walk from the fantastic restaurants of Arrowtown.

Loved the property but especiallytge Manager Victoria who went out of her way to make our stay memorable. Great cook. Obliging with early breakfasts for ski mornings. Scrumptious afternoon tea. Great beds. Loved bathroom heated floors!

Everything about our stay was great. Victoria's the best hostess from wonderful selection for breakfast. To the great touches of fresh baking for your room every afternoon 😋 good sized bedrooms and bathrooms and best location to everything the village has to offer. A perfect stay. Thank you.

I'm not sure where to start... The friendly greeting, the "nothing is too much trouble" attitude, the comfortable, spacious room, the free mini bar, the wonderful breakfast each morning (including a fantastic fruit salad), the great location 200 meters from Arrowtown shops / restos ... Everything was just right. I cannot recommend Arrowtown House too highly!
It hit 28 degrees C one day; A/C would have been nice that day. That's it, everything else was exceptional!!
