Location was excellent. Didn't use any facilities so can't comment.

Pleasant Staff

The room felt a little small. We learnt that the Air Conditioning for the whole hotel wasn't working after check in.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, breakfast was included and very good, bed was great and room service was good. shower was a wow! Overall very impressed

The room for a large suitcase was a tad tight but I am nit picking

Nice hotel. We stayed only for one night. Nice staff. The room was already ready for your check-in, although it was booked a couple of hours before arrival. Very good breakfast

There is parking. But be careful, if you have a tall and elongated car, the check-in to the garage is very steep))

Staff friendly. Good location for town centre access.

We knew room was quite small but we’re still surprised how cramped it was partly due to poor layout. All a bit run down. Double windows banged into each other, shower could do with limescale removing and tiling and seals tidying up. Safe at floor level with batteries hanging out unsurprisingly didn’t work. Basically not awful but not worth the price.

Staff were really helpful and breakfast was good.

Hard to find the hotel, as Mercure sign so small, and it didn’t help that it was the same building as the Ibis which had a massive sign. Underground carpark was very tight to manoeuvre into. Bedroom was tiny without much space.

Room very small and in need of refurbishment. For example, carpets are worn and dirty. Room was very dark with insufficient lighting. There was a fire alarm at 3am on Saturday morning. No problem with this but only 4 people left the hotel and no one else did. We were then the only two left standing outside at 330am and hotel staff never came to speak with us. When we approached them they told us it was false alarm. There was no communication at all either over the tannoy or in person. This is a safety issue.

Good location, comfortable bed.

Decor felt very dated. The carpet in my room was very worn. Reception was very dark and the breakfast room uninviting. Certainly didn't feel like a four star hotel.
