great location just across the road from Altona station. plenty of restaurants/cafes and shops nearby. super comfy beds and pillows. rooms were clean

Location! it right near Hamburg Altona - so it is super easy to navigate to any part of the city from there. Peope at reception were super nice and friendly. Room was clean. so over all - great deal for its price

It's very well located, right in front of the train station. Perfect for planning other activites near Hamburg and close enough to walk around the city centre.

Facilities look a bit old, specially the bathroom, but it's all very clean so at the end it doesn't matter that much.

Nice location. Altona station is very close. And St Pauli / Sternschanze / Messe in Hamburg is about 3 km (or 30 min) walk away. Staff were friendly.

Front desk is actually in the Best Western next door, which in confusing. Also there's no sound insolation in the hotel. A group of guests next door liked to chat a lot. They weren't loud really so I can't fault them, but you wouldn't expect to hear every word through two doors.

Fantastic location with very friendly and attentive staff. The beds were comfortable,. particularly the sofa bed which is unusual for a hotel! Really conveniently located for all transport links and noise from the station is minimal with the windows closed. Water pressure from the shower is superb and we were grateful for the bath since our 4 year old prefers that to a shower, it filled up quickly and the water actually heated up faster than our bath at home! The breakfast was amazing, good value for money and a good selection of hot and cold food available, it was a real treat getting to have banana chips for breakfast and the coffee was outstanding - I particularly loved that they provided coffee flavouring syrups. WiFi signal is strong enough to stream Netflix. The hotel was fantastically accommodating when we asked for a room at the front so that my son could see the ICE trains at the station, the purpose of our trip was to see an ICE train as it's his favourite and the location did not disappoint!

There is no kettle and fridge in the room - I don't know how I missed this at booking as to be honest, I wouldn't have booked the room if I'd known that, given that my son likes fresh milk before bed and the restaurant part is only open for breakfast. It would have been nice to have tea in the afternoons on arrival back from being out for the day but it's not a huge deal - I do feel that these facilities would improve the room significantly. The windows also have the ability to open fully as well as part way and there are no guards etc against them to prevent children from falling. Not an issue for us as we didn't open them fully, but I do think parents need to be aware of this when booking the room. The rooms aren't cleaned daily, this isn't a huge issue but it would have been nice to have at least had the bins emptied daily, as we had to have a couple of takeaway dinners (see earlier comments about sleeping child, haha!) and the bins are very small. Again, not a massive deal for us, it didn't take away from the trip at all! A few people have commented on the decor of the hotel - it's true, it does need a full facelift to be dragged into modern times, but it's totally clean and comfortable and that's what mattered to us :)

Don't expect any more. you get a small room with bed and toilet and wifi. All necessities needed, but don't expect more. It's good for a overnight stay

The room was incredibly small. Misleading pictures online when booking. Not very helpful in the reception (we had questions regarding parking in the city and transportation, and questions about the rooms before booking). Everything seemed clean but not well cared for. Will not recommend to anyone.

5 minute on foot from Hamburg Altona; good for traveller. The entrance in hotel is from Best Western: same door, same Building, same service.... but cheaper. Very comfortable and good breakfast... what more?

Great location, right next to Altona station's but very peaceful (it's used by railway staff, so quiet) well connected to Hamburg city centre. Friendly staff and comfortable beds. Cleanliness was good.

The lady on the info is very welcoming and recommended us what are the beautiful places in hamburg. The location of the hotel is very good, it is so near from the train and bus stations. Although the hotel is not located on the Innenstadt, it is easy to access all the places from there and it is also quiet in there.

The lady on the the cafeteria is rude. We pay for the breakfast buffet for 2 days and everytime we went to the table that blond lady there always looked at us as if she was checking the food we are taking. As a guest of the hotel it was very unpleasant and uncomfortable for us.
