Although situated in the "high street" populated with local bars with associated noise, the room was at the back and very quiet. It was incredibly spacious with a mezzanine floor and sky view bath. The staff were very friendly and most helpful. The local breakfast was of good quality and plentiful. Suggest you book your evening meals in advance as it looked very busy but we did not use it.
You will need to negotiate your own luggage to/from the taxi/railway station, which includes a number of steps.

It was a trip with four adults and two children. I made reserved two rooms, each for two adults and one child. However, the information desk said that only five people had reserved the rooms and
they complained about it.
I showed them the confirmation indicating that there were two adults and one child per room,
but they said that it wasn't clear
and the complained twice .

It was frustrating and made me angry
Additionally, the tourist tax fee was charged for six people instead of four adults
I just realized after I left the hotel ,
so I had to went back to refund for two kids taxs
Overall, it was an unpleasant experience.

One of the best hotels that we stayed at during our Europe trip! Rooms were spacious and very clean! The best breakfast we had! Waffles were incredible, bacon, eggs, yoghurt, cereal and tea and coffee. So many options! Location was a close walking distance to the station, which is helpful for day trips and the Glacier Express. Thank you for a lovely stay!
Only negative was the pillows! Even though we asked for extras they were way too thin. Also note, the beds are two singles.

The location was perfect! Breakfast buffet had a good sortiment! Rooms are clean and comfy! We were very happy!

Suitable for family with small kids.
Housekeeping staff is providing extra towel and toiletries.
Receptionist provided baby cot for our 2 years old kid.
Breakfast is nice.
Waited for 20 minutes for check in. No one is at the reception.
Wi-Fi connection is very slow and couldn’t get connected. Receptionist provided different Wi-Fi connection but speed is very slow and unacceptable.
Quite far from Zermatt train station to hotel. Takes around 15-20 minutes with 3 big luggage.
About 1km to reach cable car station to Klein Matterhorn.
Taxi service is very limited.

An historic hotel with nicely updated rooms and the bathrooms are great. The location is very convenient and an easy walk from the train station even with luggage. The breakfast was very good and they even provided delicious gluten free rolls upon request. I would stay there again if in Zermatt. Very friendly and efficient young man in the breakfast room.
The staff at the front desk was not always outgoing, but they did their jobs efficiently and answered our questions.

It provides sufficient facilities for us as a family. The room quite big, we have dedicated balcony. It has lift which really assist us as we are carrying large luggage. For in house guest we also enjoyed it mini spa. Very near to the Zermatt train station and village centre. Thank you so much.
The floor is a little bit dusty
