Wenn man zur Hauptsaison in Stralsund eine Unterkunft sucht, wird man entweder arm oder steigt in Budgetunterkünften ab .... oder bucht besser im Lindenhotel. Nicht ganz zentrumsnah, jedoch gut an den ÖPNV angebunden und hinter Plattensiedlung etwas versteckt direkt an großzügigen Grünflächen gelegen, würde man das Lindenhotel leicht übersehen. Äußerlich unscheinbar bietet es reichlich Komfort zum akzeptablen Preis, dazu kostenfreie Parkplätze am Haus. Die Zimmer modern zweckmäßig eingerichtet und tadellos sauber, nicht gerade groß aber ausreichend. Frühstück ab 6:30 bis 10 Uhr sollte alle Wünsche abdecken, umfangreiches Speisenangebot von süß bis herzhaft-deftig. Rührei wird ständig frisch zubereitet, Spiegelei auf Wunsch serviert. Das Personal von Rezeption über Frühstücksservice bis hin zu den Damen die die Zimmer in Schuss halten, alle freundlich und zuvorkommend. (manchmal hilft ein freundliches Wort und/oder Lächeln des Gastes, die nordisch-kühl anmutende Zurückhaltung zu brechen 😀 ) Was gut ist: Man kann täglich selbst entscheiden, ob man Zimmerreinigung benötigt oder nicht. Fazit: Wenn wieder Stralsund, dann Lindenhotel

Die Lage war gut. Ebenso die Erreichbarkeit. Zimmer sind einfach und zweckmäßig eingerichtet.

Es wäre schön gewesen,vorab zu wissen,das es keinen Aufzug gibt. Ausserdem fühlt man sich schlecht,wenn man von den anderen Gästen abgesondert in ein Zimmer untergebracht wird wo es probleme mit der Heizung und dem warmen Wasser gibt, nur weil man mit einem kleinen Kind anreist.

Very (child-)friendly and chatty staff members. The area isn't the nicest but the property of the hotel felt like an island in the midst of the concrete. The breakfast was nice and sufficient. Unfortunately, the restaurant closed down and if you are hungry at night there is just one local restaurant. There is a small garden and a green path to the train station. A bus station is nearby. Parking a car is easy on the hotel property.

The prices for the breakfast are too high in my opinion. The selection of food is good but I would expect even more then. There was also a "minibar" but in fact it was just a fridge. No water or snacks in the room. It's an older hotel and you can see it. It's not that the walls break but it looks old fashioned. Be prepared to climb stairs. We booked the junior suite and the small chamber loses oxygen it seems.

We got a newly renovated room with a nice bathroom in the quiet part of the main building. Large comfortable beds, and an exceptionally good breakfast. There were a huge selection of items, several of these I had never tried before !

Junior Suite has extra bed for third person, but only in a separate area of the room. A Sliding door, but no window. Was not fully clear to us on booking the suite. Rooms could be more comfortable.

Friendly staff, good breakfast and quite. Bus station close by for quick transport to city centre. Supermarket near hotel and there are some trails for walking or running.

Nice and new comfortable room. Tasty breakfast with good coffe.

Rooms are very clean and silent. The receptionist was very polite and understanding, because were a bit late and checked in after the designated time.

There is really not much to complain about other than the fact that the side room with the extra bed was a bit small and awkward.
