they have checkin option via a machine so that you do not need to fit in the schedule of the receptionists.

Location is walking distance to sightseeing as well as to central station. Everything was clean. Our room had a great view. Early check in was possible, which was super helpful. Clean.

The breakfast is moderate. I was not pleased that on the day of check out the luggage was able to stay in the hotel only until 17 however my transport was hours later.

The best thing for this hotel is that it is facing the river and has excellent views if your room is on the side facing the river. It is really wonderful experience. The location of this hotel really exceed my expectations. Excellent!!!

Parking in the whole area is not easy at all. But we finally able to find a spot that does not need to walk too long. I wish hotel can provide better direction for how to loading for check in and how to park.

The location was great and they had an awesome self check-in machine. The gentleman at the front desk when we checked out was very nice.

The room was quite small and there was a strong sewage odor. Also, the shower was very small. From an American perspective, the breakfast was not great. I suspect it is a decent European breakfast—lots of lunch meat and sliced cheese, vegetables, bread, jam. They had some scrambled eggs but they were very wet.

Awesome great location. Very good accommodation

Receptionist was very pleasant and welcoming; breakfast was good and the breakfast room has a wonderful view on the river. Nespresso machine in the room is a nice touch, even though I didn't use it! As is the sparkling water

The bathroom was really cramped, I'd expect bigger and better for the price. I expected a river view too, but maybe that's my mistake. Actually the building itself doesn't open on to the river road at all, but there's nothing they can do about that, I guess.

Parking

We loved that the room had two large windows facing the River Main. We could see the Festung (fortress) and Alte Mainbrücke (Old Main Bridge). The hotel is in a great location with an easy walk to the train station, the sights, eating, drinking and shopping. One of the highlights was having a glass of Franconian wine on the Old Bridge from "Brückenschoppen". Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The bed was large and comfortable and we slept well. We appreciated the coffee machine in our room and the complimentary bottle of champagne as it was New Year's Eve when we arrived. The fireworks display all along the river was fantastic!

Bathroom was small and difficult to manoeuvre with the large bathroom door always in the way! Although the shower cubicle was also small, it was actually a great shower! We were really disappointed with the breakfast rolls as each morning, they were not fresh. It's a tradition in Germany to fetch the breakfast rolls from a nearby bakery (there was one about 200 metres from the hotel so we would've fetched them ourselves!) for that morning's breakfast. It's one of the things we really enjoy in Germany so to not have this for 3 mornings at a hotel that is abit expensive because of it's great location, was puzzling and frustrating.

The room was given while they were still cleaning it..but it was the 01/01, so we do not complaint.

Location and breakfast. Super close to Christmas market, main bridge, Marienverehrung fortress, even the residence is close. Breakfast was excellent with view of fortress across the Main. staff very friendly. Lots of interesting artwork about Würzburg.

no parking, hard to unload suitcases. it would be good if there was a loading zone near the hotel.

The hotel locates near the attraction, Alter Kranen, and the Altstadt (maximum 10 minutes walk distance). Because of the good location, some of the rooms can see the view of the river and the Marienberg Fortress. Besides, the room is well equipped and cosy!

My husband and I were on a bike trip and appreciated the locked garage for our bikes overnight. The location is convenient to both the river and the city center but it still very quiet - at least on the non-water side. The room was comfortable but the bed was too soft for my husband. The breakfast room overlooks the river and the food choices were generous and the food was tasty.

We are not big people and we found the shower a bit snug.

Picture perfect view from room. P Close to town centre and all major sight seeing. Super quiet and great air con. Everything within walking distance. Will definitely stay there again. Receptionist was amazing. Breakfast lady was off work sick so she had to do all jobs and did so with a happy smile and a great attitude. Well done!!!!

The localization is perfect, right beside the river where everybody goes at sunset hour. The room was confortable, it even had kettle for coffee (which we didn't see much in Germany hotels). The bathroom was a bit small, but very modern and new. Breakfast was very good and the lady in the breakfast room was very nice. Although it is not close to the train station, it is perfectly walkable from there.

We arrived 7:30 pm, since it was stated in booking that check-in time was until 8 PM. But there was no one in the reception. It is possible to do the check-in in a system by the door, everything automatic, even payment. We left our luggage in the room and went out. When we got back, we had a little trouble opening the door. Finally, we discovered we had to look at the camera, for facial recognition. But it was not very straightforward. Nothing was written about it. I don’t know what happens if you have trouble opening the door. Maybe you have to call them. But what if you don’t have a phone? Anyway, if your staying here, try to get earlier so staff can explain you better how to proceed for entering the hotel in later ours of the night. It is a nice place after all.

Beautiful location on river Main. Nice elevator and very clean facility. Close to central area of Wurzburg.
