La super cordialità dello staff (grazie Araitz e Maria!), la posizione centralissima nel Casco Viejo, con possibilità di raggiungere a piedi tutte le principali attrazioni, e la pulizia accurata della stanza. Menzione speciale alla doccia spaziosa.

Premettendo che ho dormito benissimo (materasso comodo, lenzuola e cuscini morbidi e puliti, tutto perfetto), avrei forse valutato un letto matrimoniale un pò più grande. Niente però che un' eventuale richiesta, per la prossima volta, di letti separati non possa risolvere.

Mi habitación no se correspondía con lo que vi por internet ni con la habitación que pagué, que era más cara por tener vistas a la ciudad y la vista que tuve fue a un patio sin luz y cerrado. La habitación también tenía partes en malas condiciones y las paredes manchadas, el baño perdía agua y todo el edificio sonaba al caminar

Location was excellent. Breakfast was good but expensive.

No tea, coffee facilities. No restaurant/cafe/bar in hotel. Noisy - could hear everyone passing by or moving about in their rooms.

Great location on the edge of the old town and only a short walk from the Airport bus stop. The reception team so friendly and helpful. Great value for money.

Bedrooms are a little tired but I understand plans are afoot for a refurbishment later in the year early next year.

cleaning of the aircondition system, it was full of dust and old dirt, so i didnt really feel comfortable using it thinking breathing in all this, except for that everything was great.

The location was perfect, in the heart of the old town. The breakfast by Maria and Ruben was incredible, the room was clean and had everything we needed. Angel at the front desk was kind, cheerful and helpful. We will definitely return.

There was only one occasion when a busker was playing 70s ballads on an electric guitar with an amplifier very loudly in the street below our room. He could not play well, but we could not escape the noise. It is actually funny now.

Located opposite the opera house and on the edge of the old town. subway , trams, buses and taxis all within 100metres. Room good, didn't take breakfast. Really cool and quirky dining area on top floor.

We enjoyed our weekend stay at Petit Palace Arana. The hotel is very well located and is incredibly clean. We stayed on the 5th floor with amazing view on a narrow old street. The room has everything you might need, including good cosmetics which smells amazing!

The location is PERFECT. You are right in the Casco Viejo, so you have shops, fruit stores, supermarkets, bakeries, cafés, restaurants, etc. within minutes. You also have very easy access to public transportation, trams, buses, metro, taxis, and the train station. Moyúa Square is a 15-minute walk away if you want to take a bus to the airport. Within walking distance are also Ribera Market, the Guggenheim Museum, and the Arena Bilbao if you are attending a concert.

The room was not quiet. I heard the noise from the street and the noise from the rooms around me, toilet flushes, showers, talking, walking. It is the oldest hotel in Bilbao, I was told, so I guess it's to be expected.

Location was very good and reception staff extremely helpful especially Angel. Angel never failed to provide excellent customer service throughout our stay no matter how many questions we asked he always furnished us with great detailed information with a beaming smile. Angel is a true professional and a real asset to this hotel.

Very pleasant and welcoming staff. Architecture of the building. Sympathetic and attractive renovation. Definitely pet friendly, supplying pet bed, treats and feeding bowls. Very clean. Comfortable bed and bedding. Great location. Good communication.

Always wanted to stays in a Pension and this one was perfect. Loved our room (Chardonnay 21). It made you feel at hotel with a private bath. Wasn’t expecting amenities yet they had them and more… toothbrushes and bath salts. Frig and coffee maker in the room with a common room with espresso, micro, etc. Bed was comfortable with a top sheet and american pillows. We rented bikes and went to wineries. Great for a run on the Camino de real. Lovely public pool for laps as well. Cute bar downstairs and great restaurants on the plaza. A must stop for Rioja. We will be back!

It was a bit expensive

The hotel is clean, safe, centrally located. The staff is welcoming and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay very much! The parking discount was especially welcome.

It was quite warm for the time of year when we visited and of course the rooms were not set up for air conditioning. However the staff was VERY accommodating and changed our room to one with windows that opened to let in cool air. This was great and an excellent solution.

Double room was very small (12ft x 10ft) and so was double bed. En-suite OK.
