Hotel was nice

Got woken up 3 time with our new born as people were singing at 2.30 3.30 & 4.00 am Drink prices were a rip off

A warm welcome from reception staff. Clean, comfortable and spacious room. Excellent breakfast served by helpful and cheery staff.

Reception staff superb,

The bed was quite possibly the most uncomfortable and tired bed I have slept on. Restaurant staff appeared to be under pressure and not really performing to what I believe was there best.

Bar/room service is very limited especially if your vegetarian. The vegetarian breakfast was extremely disappointing and waste none descript veggie sausage ever tried. thankfully the porridge was awesome.

staff were brilliant and very accommodating. Location was good Bar was very nice with the coal fire .

our 1st room was cover in hairs the sink, shower and floor all had curly hairs. the bed had curly hairs the lamp shade next to the bed had cobwebs . the food selection was extremely poor, got the soup and well it was a disappointing 2nd room the drain for the shower was blocked and flooded the toilet floor and the joininf carpet to the bedroom .

The staff were brilliant, very helpful and informative with regard to the property and getting around the area. Location was excellent and the spa was lovely. The breakfast was delicious and the staff at breakfast were very helpful. Really enjoyed our stay with you.

The only minor point was that the bar and restaurant were closed very early so we couldnt sample the bar food and drink of an evening after returning from Edinburgh and upon our arrival after a very difficult journey.
