No WiFi in our room & every time we went anywhere, we had to return the key to the front desk.

Das einzig Gute am Hotel ist die ideale Lage. Man ist zu Fuss schnell im Zentrum und kann Como erkunden.
Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen. Alles wirkt für ein 4-Stern-Hotel veraltet. Die WC-Brille war abgenutzt bis auf das nackte Holz und die Zimmer sind auch wegen dem dunklen Holz dunkel. Die Matratzen sind so hart, dass das Schlafen auf dem Boden weicher wirkt… Für mich wäre dieses Hotel in der Schweiz bestenfalls ein 3-Stern-Hotel… Das Personal ist zum teil nett, zum Teil merkt man den Leuten an, dass es ihnen keinen Spass macht… Für diese Leistungen eindeutig zu teuer!

The Hotel is historically attentive. Lots of furniture have a historical value, the guests felt like turning to the 19th century.
But lots of technical things demand repair.
As for food service, I recommend to some of waiters and waitresses to be more attentive and hospital.

6: No blinds in windows, airco make noises
8: Blinds in ceiling window broken, ceiling window didn't locked.
In general poor styling rooms, we had the economy rooms but it was very low quality, not a 4*

easy walk to the lake, restaurants and bars.
the bathroom was upstairs! this may be due to the hotels age and restrictions on changes to the property

Good location with a 10 minute walk to the lake. Room was very clean and tidy. Staff were so friendly and always keen to help in anyway.
Small thing but booked for a single person and got a single bed which I wasn’t previously informed about. I was not too bothered but more surprised.

I cannot recommend Albergo Le Due Corti highly enough. The front desk staff was the nicest, friendliest I've ever encountered. Above and beyond customer service. The hotel itself is architecturally fascinating and lovely. The room was small but comfortable and more than met my needs. One of the reasons I would return to Como would simply be to stay at Albergo Le Due Corti. I've never said that about a hotel before. Do not hesitate to book your stay here.

location, staff, comfortable bed, parking arrangements were all very good
the room was quite warm. the ONLy way to make it cooler was the open the window which is a waste of energy and quite noisy in the early morning

The staff were really helpful and friendly. I had to leave early and they provided me with a packed breakfast as I would miss the buffet. They also called a taxi for me and called my room to give me a 2 min warning. The location was ideal.
The decor is a bit dated and there were no plug sockets next to the bed, barely any plugs at all, which was annoying.

Room was poor and very hot. The bathroom was very old fashioned and had mouldy sealant. not what I would expect from a 4 star hotel.

It was a very beautiful building and the staff were lovely and friendly. The location is great too!
Everything was a little outdated, the old-style of the hotel itself was lovely, but I think the rooms could use a little updating. Breakfast was also not the greatest, there could have been a bit more selection in terms of hot foods.

Location was good
Was very noisy as our room overlooked the main road and the room felt too stuffy to have the windows closed. Also we were excited to go for a swim in the pool, only to find out that it was closed for cleaning so couldn’t use it, was disappointing as that was one of the reasons I booked the hotel for the pool.

This hotel was perfect for our four-night stay. Despite the fact that we booked at the very last minute, the front desk staff are very welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable, the breakfast offering is very good and fresh and the service staff provided quick coffee service. Our room was quiet, comfortable and clean and the location is ideal for exploring Como.
Would have preferred a shower as the tub with a wand requires a bit of forethought and careful manipulation, but we had not requested a shower specifically so managed to figure it out.

poor soundproofing . heard alarms going off and people returning to their rooms after 12 ..
pool was very small and very different to the photos on the website . 2 to 3 sunbeds squashed onto the breakfast terrace at 10 .
very deceptive . The hotel is more like a 3 star hotel than 4 star .
