We loved that the hotel was located a short walk away from the main area of town. The room was quite large, clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. And breakfast was very good.

We wish the room had air conditioning since it was quite warm during our visit.

- amazing breakfast!!!! - we also got a free upgrade and was able to see the view of the matterhorn!! - we even visited both spas. The hotel provides you a tote bag, slippers and robe that you bring with you to the spas. Super cute :)

The people working at the hotel are extremely nice.

This is a gem of a Hotel. All the staff are welcoming and extremely helpful. The attention to detail in the room was outstanding, right down from a single rose to a block of Swizz chocolate. Overall we found the room very comfortable (a little small but larger rooms are available) with a balcony. The bathroom is modern and clean. Great view of the surrounding mountains with some rooms facing the Matterhorn. The breakfast was, again, outstanding with a huge variety for every taste. Squeeze your own fruit juices (by machine). The kitchen host, Claudia, was so welcoming and made great coffee. And should you choose you can have a Prosecco with breakfast (all included). Included in the room (free) is the use of the minibar - beer, soft drinks and water. Downstairs offers snacks during the day that can be picked up in the breakfast area. Free transportation from the station and return is also offered. We also had a 5 course dinner at their sister hotel at a discount price - in short it was amazing with beautifully presented dishes and excellent service from Marco. I’m a hard marker but I highly recommend the hotel Daniela. It is a lovely family run business and is excellent value for money.

I’ve been all around the world and I must say that this hotel is one of my top favorites. The staff is top notch - proactive, professional and caring. What is more the hotel is really pet friendly in the room we found bed and bowls prepared for our dog, which was a pleasant surprise. The area is quiet, rooms are comfortable, spacious and clean. Wellness area was perfect - cameral, we had it almost for ourselves. Breakfasts are excellent with variety of food to choose. I truly recommend and hope to be back soon!

BEWARE, Hotel directions took us straight to hotel via their directions on Apple Maps. Nothing listed on their website on stating not to drive into Zermat. Only says enjoy a tram ride to the hotel. Followed locals into town driving rental car, because of the mass construction all signs were down and the only rotating digital was on the roundabout in English rotation in other languages near the train station. Beware ZERMATT POLICE ARE HIDING BEHIND THE FIRST BUS STOP TO GIVE A $1000 ticket, payable on the spot while they hold passports. Terrible experience. Hotel staff were completely unhelpful and kept on saying that they are having issues with their new online reservation system. No air so have to leave windows open, construction banging started at 7:30 unbearable street and bridge repair and construction on new building right next door. Not a 5 star experience in the slightest.

The staffs are perfect. They gave information more than enough. Without their advice I could not decide to go up the Mathehorn as soon as I arrived the hotel. The day after the weather was not good, so Mathehorn could not be seen. The spa was wonderful, and breakfast was also good. Lovely hotel.

A great hotel within a walking distance from the train station. We were pleasantly surprised by the room and the small touches such as the complementary minibar and the way the rooms were decorated with local produce. The breakfast was excellent with plenty to choose from, including local products and enough vegetarian options for the start of the day. The rooms was quiet, the bed comfy. The adults only wellness area was a great addition to our relaxing stay!

Having the opening hours of the wellness area available would have improved our experience, as now at our return to the hotel we learned that there was less than half an hour left to utilize the pool and saunas. This information could be included in the overall info cards alongside the breakfast etc info.

The pillows

Beautiful hotel with amazing staff. The decor is spot on. Breakfast had a wide selection of fresh dishes for everyone's taste. Rooms are updated and are larger than expected with a nice balcony. Mini bar was included, nice touch. The staff was very helpful in providing local amenity and ski information. They went out of their way to help us with accommodation resolution due to being stuck in Zermat as a result from a heavy snow storm which caused the trains to be cancelled. Thank you Hotel Daniella!
