A big walk into town

We liked the room, the couch looked great. There was chilled water in the fridge, the room was already toasty and warm for us when we got in after 11pm. My husband said that the bath was fantastic, we had cooking utensils. It was great. There was a separate room with 2 singles beds. The motel was easy to find. We had free parking close to our room. The room was clean and it smelt really good. Management met all of our needs and was very pleasant to communicate with in person and on the phone. My husband noticed the beautiful art, he has a great attention to detail. We will definitely book again in the future.

I think the plastic milk cartons are wasteful. My husband thought that the fan in the bathroom was horribly loud as well.

BEDS WERE A BIT HARD, TOWELS HAD TO BE TAKEN TO THE OFFICE TO SWAP OVER FOR CLEAN TOWELS BUT THE GUY WAS VERY APOLOGETIC ABOUT ROOM NOT BEEN SERVICED

False advertising - both booking.com and website say that breakfast is available. this is not the case. this was one of the reasons we chose this place to stay. I let the staff know, and they still haven’t updated anything online, so the next person will think the same Rude staff - we chose not to get our towels washed due to water crisis, but were not aware at the time the towel rack did not work, so our towels never dried. we phoned in the morning (9am) to ask for more towels and the owner told us to wait a half hour for cleaner. we didn’t have time to wait (appointments), so asked if we could have some now, and got given a very rude attitude, got hung up on on the phone while trying to explain, and then got attitude again when the towels were delivered IT - wifi did not work. may have had something to do with the flooding issues. not sure. tv remote didn’t work

The location was great for a stay to visit relatives in the immediate area.

The bed was hard. The room was very small. The price would have indicated that the room would be serviced every day. Given that there was no kitchen sink it wasn't appropriate to wash the dishes in the bathroom. Two empty coffee cups where left on the small bench by the kettle and not replaced with clean. When we came back to the room the cups were full of ants which had come in through a crack between floor and wall. There was no way to fill the water bottle in the fridge from the bathroom tap (not enough space to get the bottle in) and the bottle was not refilled during room service.

The internet was spasmodic.
