sounds of the nature was exceptional this stay refresh my body and mind in bonding with nature including sounds of the different type of animals and birds and view of the tree and water both of us me and my husband enjoyed our stay

i came here for vacation to run out of my alarm I want to wake up any time I want to do things without schedule so this is the only thing i don’t like when they asked me “what time you will come tomorrow for the breakfast?! and what time you will come for the dinner!” the private pool water is little bit cold

My second stay there and it was perfect, despite the challenging conditions in the country (travelled June 2022). Staff couldn’t have been more helpful, everyone went above and beyond to ensure tourists still had a great time. Location also excellent, being very close to Sigiriya and Dambulla and within easy reach of Anuradhapura and Pollonaruwa, as well as reasonably close to Kandy and Wilpattu. Don’t miss local excursions as well with the loris walk and night drive, as well as birdwatching, all either at the hotel or around.

Everything was perfect. They organise your trips with every detail.

We arrived to a truly unique and serene experience of sitting in the floating library and enjoying herbal tea as a tropical downpour immersed us in the surrounding lakes and water gardens. The hotel and grounds are simply stunning, with beautiful views and wildlife in every direction. The staff made our stay extremely comfortable with their kindness, generosity and care. This is a place to go for reflection, relaxation and a drop of adventure!

Fantastic and very unique setting — loved the nature hikes. The conservation values of the property really shine through. Excellent food and attentive, friendly staff. Very good and inexpensive spa.

E-mail communication before arrival was slow and confusing at times, but on-site service was excellent.

The property is magical, its like staying at a wildlife reserve. We saw monkeys, iguanas, a crocodile, peacocks and a number of other animals. The forest dwelling we stayed in was beautiful. Amazing tub, beautiful open air bathroom and a fabulous pool area. The staff was exceptional and food and drinks were all top notch. We just wish we could have stayed longer. We stayed as a couple with our two children.

Needs better coffee, cappucinos and espresso.

Everything. Lovely to stay at Jetwing Vil Uyana. The staff was also very very kind and helpful and the nature is amazing.

Location and the Hotel is absolutely stunning, breakfast was amazing und the sri lankan food as well!

Best resort in sri lanka!

This is certainly one of the best hotels I've stayed in - the service, hospitality and ecological credentials are second to none. We loved the peaceful setting of our room, which really makes you feel close to nature (just in the hotel grounds we saw crocodiles, lorises, monitor lizards and all manner of birds, as well as hearing nearby elephants on an evening). The staff are exceptionally helpful and really can't do enough for you, including our private butler. Then there's the food: Chef Mahesh and his team have created a really wonderful offering, including both traditional Sri Lankan food and a number of very well-executed international dishes. We took part in their Saturday night private cookery course and had such a great time learning how to cook a traditional Sri Lankan meal; one of the highlights of our entire trip.

My only minor criticism is that the Booking.com listing indicated that the Water Dwelling had a private pool, and we were disappointed to find that this wasn't the case. I'm told by the hotel they they're now corrected this error.

Food quality is really good but Breakfast service is terribly slow
