Grand Residency's location is undeniably a strong point. Situated conveniently close to local markets, including the bustling Carter Road, it's super convenient for those looking to explore the local scene and indulge in some shopping therapy. The easy accessibility to nearby attractions certainly adds value to the stay. Navigating the area was a breeze, thanks to the hotel's strategic placement. Getting around was hassle-free, allowing me to explore the vibrant surroundings with ease. This convenience certainly added a positive note to my trip.

The reality fell short of my expectations. The issues began with a less-than-impressive breakfast. The options were limited, and the quality was average at best. It's disappointing when a crucial part of the stay, like breakfast, fails to leave a positive impression. To make matters worse, the initial room assigned to me had a leaking issue. It's disheartening to arrive at your room, only to find water dripping from the ceiling. The hotel staff promptly moved me to another room upon my complaint, but the inconvenience was undeniable. The second room, though free from leaks, failed to make up for the earlier mishap. Considering the price I was paying for the stay, I expected a more comfortable and well-maintained space. The overall ambiance was lackluster, and it felt like the room was showing signs of wear and tear. While I understand that not every stay can be perfect, the combination of sub-par breakfast, leaking room, and the mediocre quality of the second room left me feeling underwhelmed. I had hoped for a more enjoyable experience

The staff are the stand-out feature of this property. Everyone was friendly, smiling and very helpful. They all contributed to making our stay easy and comfortable, even though we were working most of the time. The buffet breakfast was good and you are able to order fresh made dosa each morning.

The gym was not particularly useful and the few machines there looked neglected. We chose not to use the space as small and dark. The electricity in the room was erratic, meaning the fridge stopped working along with half the power points at one stage. The property is overpriced for the offering, and the charge for an airport transfer was absurd (we booked uber instead for a third of the fare); however, despite this, I would still stay again (a short stay) for the location and friendly staff.

I liked that the property offered great customer service. Everyone who worked there went out of their way to help me with anything I needed. The staff helped me with planning out an outstation trip, solving technical issues, and in general any basic inquires I needed.

The property system takes sometime to charge your mobile devices, but overtime you get use to it.

Excellent hotel, Great Location. All staff were fantastic.& courteous.....Sankesh & Shankar were both great to deal with....Excellent customer service skills... I defenitely recommend this hotel if you are visiting Mumbai from Australia.
