Great river view from the room balcony, cosy room, convenient charging points, well equipped kitchen. Super convenient location.
Toilet facilities a little lacking - sink a little small, floors got wet easily and dont really have place to put soap/shampoo etc.

Location is perfect, parking is free for 2 hours or after 6pm all night, rooms are spotless and comfortable. It's really close to the town center for nights out and food but not close enough to be disturbed late on and really close to a lot of the area's mountains either walking or a short drive. The staff are always very friendly and the kitchen staff are really accommodating with the way they handle your food, making sure they clarify any dietary requirements and asking if there's anything you want more of that you really enjoy.
Checking in and out is really easy and the staff are really friendly at this stage too, offering local advice and generally being chatty and nice.
There could maybe be one more item on the vegan breakfast, mushrooms or something else cost effective for the price point. (It is great value)

Loved our time at keswick youth hostel. Staff were so friendly & helpful. Perfect location for easy access to town centre & walks. But with such a lovely cafe on the doorstep it was tempting to spend all our time indoors overlooking the river. The beds were so comfy - didn't feel like we were in bunks!
The only think to be mindful of is the stairs from the road down to entrance. Also while cafe is dog friendly, it's a real shame none of the room are or we'd be back again & again!

Lovely YHA, run more like a hotel. Fantastic value if you’re staying in a dorm for what you get. Perfectly clean, great staff and location.
Private rooms are similar cost to local hotels without the towels, TV or en suites.

Excellent location, just a couple of minutes walk to the centre of Keswick and very pretty as it's right on the riverbank. As expected with a hostel the rooms are functional and beds ok. Breakfast could be paid for on site and was very good. Would make excellent walking/cycling base. Plenty of showers and they were excellent.

Position perfect for visiting Keswick. Staff extremely helpful despite my many changes of plan. Availability of free parking. Good breakfast. Clean tidy comfortable rooms.

the room was dated and smelt very strongly of mould. It was small for 6 people and overall felt very overpriced for the high-season rate we paid. It was our first stay in a YHA and we felt the value promised wasn't there.
