Limited but ample menu resulted in good produce being prepared to a very good standard every time at a very good price. Portions too large for my appetite but other guests certainly appreciated them.

Wi-Fi in stable block rooms was poor to non existent, having to stand outside to receive signal.

That's twice I've left the hotel with the staff being really nice apart from the girl with the brown hair ruining it at the end , her attitude stinks , had a heart attack last year and she made me walk round the long way and this time no breakfast no tea no nothing slammed the entrance door on me , I'm not going back

long walk to my room, as a solo traveller it was difficult, up stairs, round corners, through doors, along corridors with multiple bags a lack of electrical sockets meant I had to unplug the kettle and tv to charge my phone and watch

Staff and location were great. Very soft comfortable bed, great shower, tea biscuits, extra pillows in the cupboard.

The room (10) was above the kitchen and smelt like a dirty old burger van, literally grease... no sockets next to the bed for mobile charger closest was at the other side of the room no good if you need to charge and use your phone at the same time. also the two lamps either side of the bed were useless as you had to pull the double bed away from the wall to switch them on... Also no hair dryer and a dated TV, also you could here the staff walking past your room in the early hours getting ready to start the day, and the kitchen chefs below you.

Good location. Clean and comfortable.

A little noisy. A generator or fan from perhaps the kitchen came on intermittently and was loud. Also loud music from the bar in the evening for a while.

Room OK. Hot breakfast should have been served on a v. hot plate, not on a plate which had only been warmed by putting in a rack over the cooking.

Bathroom. Toilet seat v. loose, Hot tap v. loose. Towel rail v. loose, Toilet roll holder v. loose. Shower drain blocked. Hole in bath towel. Lid of sani bin not operable by its pedal

Brilliant overnight stay. We were allocated a twin bedded room which was very spacious, clean, comfortable and had all the facilities and complimentary items that one needs. Great location, good price compared to others and could not fault anything.
