Despite having used a (valid and authorised) Visa debit card to confirm my booking via Booking.com, I got an email from the hotel the day before we were due to arrive telling me that the room I had booked was in danger of being cancelled: "The hotel being full tomorrow we are particularly attentive to the means of payment but after a verification of your credit card as guarantee, the latter is refused. Can you contact us quickly by phone or mail to provide us with another bank guarantee. Without return from you, the room will be released tomorrow from 6 p.m." I rang the hotel immediately on seeing the message to ask what the problem was as we had booked the room months in advance, conscious that the city was extremely busy that weekend due to the Réderie d'Amiens, which we were travelling specially to attend. The person on the other end of the phone was most unhelpful, laughing with a colleague in the background while I tried to get confirmation that they would not release the room we had booked. I explained that the room was booked using a debit card not a credit card on Booking.com (the debit card already had to be authorised as part of this process) and on the basis that it was to be paid for in full on arrival at the hotel, not taken in advance by prepayment. I have used this method of payment dozens of times without any problem. She said that the room would be still be released unless we arrived before 6pm the next day, despite having a confirmed booking and the debit card already verified in order for the booking to be made in the first instance on Booking.com. If I hadn't happened to check my email while on holiday, I would have been completely unaware of the situation. An unnecessary and stressful experience and a poor introduction to the Moxy.

Our room was a very good size with lots of lights and enough space to put our luggage in and still have room to walk around without any problems. The bathroom and shower were great too - very spacious and modern. Spotless! The hotel is quite near the city center - about a 10-minute walk- and very near the river Somme along which you can find lots of excellent restaurants and the "hortillonnages" visit too. Breakfast was great with freshly squeezed juice, fresh bread and fruits, cold cuts, cheeses etc. All in all it was an excellent stay!

the cool funky facilities , the central location , the staff are super friendly and helpful , it is close to the station however I can’t hear any train noise at all ( my room was facing the rail ) . the parking lot is just opposite the hotel

the staff were excellent especially Camille who helped us booking a vet appointment even before we arrived! all other staff were helpful and seemed genuinely happy to help

The location was excellent for the city. The reception, bar and ground floor space was excellent allowing people to sit and chat, have coffee or a drink and space to spread if needed. Extra bonus table football!

Although specified on the hotels TV that rooms are cleaned regularly and specifically our room was not - there were glass marks on the beside table and room table from previous clients. One room was not cleaned during the stay

Layout of room, sleek, clean and comfortable. Good shower. Breakfast good, lots of variety. Nice area around reception to have a drink, relax. convenient bike storage. staff pleasant and helpful.

Room too warm, not sure if aircon works..but you can open a window which solves the problem.
