There was a friendly greeting from the woman on reception and she was kind and helpful. The terrace was great and the room very well equipped. It was quiet and comfortable and in a good location near the lake.

The man in charge of the dining room was unfriendly and unhelpful. The dinner was OK but overpriced. Breakfast was poor. I got down 45 minutes before closing time; they had run out of bread, viennoiserie, fruit, no one was filling things up, the TV was blaring, altogether not a good atmosphere.

The air of total professionalism allied to the friendly ,relaxed atmosphere. Dinner menu varied in content and flavours; delicious. Lakeside setting offers plenty of water activities : participate or just watch!

Lovely lakeside location on the edge of a nice small town Co-owner Lisa is/was a Yorkshire Lass and was the perfect hostess The service, dark beer, evening meal & bread were excellent
