Beautiful views and the owner was very sweet - lots of recommendations and tips! He even helped us book a taxi.

There are very steep stairs to and from the accomodation.

The house and the surrounding environment is cozy and great, the view is fabulous.

The road / path to get to the house is very steep, if you have luggage with you, you will find very difficult to reach the place. it is good that you come with a backpack. We left our luggage in our car and carry a backpack over. The car park is at the Senko-ji park.

Totally unique experience. Well worth the long trip to and from.

Was very cold. Not in love with the vegetarian options, but I am sure they were delicious to a vegetarian.

The property is fab and in a beautiful location (definitely try the Thai restaurant just up the hill where the staff are amazing)

Not a complaint for us but to be aware it’s (almost) at the top of a steep hill. Only takes less than 10 mins and the views are worth it

the space was a luxury for Japan standard n what attracted me most was the view

getting down the steps to the property n up to get out, not a place suitable for seniors or people wit knee problem

The location was really neat and unique and truly the iconic location where Onomichi is known for. The view from the house was amazing.

The toilet and outside was very smelly as the house uses old school toilet. However the owner cleaned it after we complained and got improved a bit. Also the bedding did not seem to be clean and not sure if they were washed every time. Overall, we were disappointed. The house should have self check-in as it is not totally convenient to arrange check in and out with the owner, however he was very accommodating which was nice.

The view is incredible, the house is retro cool. Close to everything. Comfortable with a great shower.

The beds were a little thin even by Japanese standards. The stairs were a challenge with cases but we were expecting that. The view is worth it.
