The room was very comfortable and quiet, the pillows exceptional (memory foam). The location is great, since you can arrive easily by car and explore the old town and the river banks of the Danube on foot; it is only a 10-15 min stroll to the old cathedral. Parking is available, although not always at the hotel premises. The staff was helpful and the breakfast entirely sufficient, even though not 5-star.

For this price range one cannot really expect more, it really is a very good hotel in a very good location. For something really luxurious you have to pay much more.

No air conditioning. It was a bit hot in the , even with the use of the ventilator that we had in the room. To be honest, temperatures were very high those 2 days of staying, over 30°C. Also, Traveller tip: be sure to ask for a room away from the main street. When you leave open window during night, it is pretty noisy from 5:30 am. :) Nevertheless, the hotel is good value for money, for sure.
