East to get to the start of the trails in the park. Nice environment. Some of the staff were friendly and very helpful and made good breakfast and dinner (important when you’re hiking).
We arrived at 9am and left our bags, when we came back to the hotel after a day of hiking (at 5pm) out towels were not ready. During the evening when we would be trying to relax, one member of staff watched videos on their phone without head phones which often ruined the atmosphere you would want when staying in the national park. The shower water didn’t stay in the shower ‘area’ making the bathroom very wet and slippy and sometimes leaking into the bedroom

I love Paola and Diana's services, they were exceptionally attentive and very friendly. Overall it was great. Juan the admistrative, it's a young man that help me as a guide when we wanted to go to port st lucas for a few $$$$.
The fact the room didn't have AC.

Really nice jungle experience with all the Confort that you could have in the middle of the Tyrona Park. Nice breakfast, great staff and without insects in the room!

The location was as described and as expected
The staff was rude, Wi-Fi didn’t work and they didn’t accept visa for anything (which was advertised)

The room was very clean, considering we were in the middle of the park (no mosquitos or other bugs).
The breakfast was good (for the money we paid): every day, we'd get eggs + fruit + juice + coffee + toast/arepas.
The hostel was just a 15m walk distance from the entrance of the park (where we'd get a van to go to the start of the trails)
The host was not flexible enough with us. At first, we booked the place for three nights. Thereafter (three days before check-in), we've come up with a change of plans, and we asked if it would be possible to change for two nights: request was denied, and they charged our fees straight away.
They didn't provide drinking water for free.
The wifi would only work in the dining/resting area, and it would be a bit slow most of the time.

Everything about this stay was amazing - having somewhere to stay in the National park is rare and beautiful! The food was exceptional - and the staff were so helpful too, recommending hiking trails and making sure we knew how to stay safe in the park.

The staff was very nice, "La Mona" made us feel at home, food was delicious and the hotel was nice, perfect to relax inside the park after the hike or beach day

Very nice room with no walls but mosquitos protections on beds, nice garden and terrace at the restaurant.
We arrived too late at the park entrance, so the hotel sent us a guy to let us in. But the guy wasn’t honest and scammed us. Fortunately, the hotel helped us and we had our money back.

Nice, helpful staff, especially Lina. Well-kept grounds.
My private room with bathroom (#7) was spare. It lacked basic things: bath mat, a hook or two to hang things up, a light in the bathroom, more than one electric outlet.
The curtains were not dark enough, as you can see my silhouette from the outside at night if the room light was on.
The mosquito net was too short. Having the fan on even at the lowest setting blew the net's ends up. I had to decide between being hot or being bitten. As the room felt damp and stuffy, I opted for having the fan on.
WiFi is slow in common area and non-existent in the room.
I did get a peek at the private rooms with shared bathroom on the second floor. While also spartan, they were airier and more spacious. That might be the way to go.
At the end of the day, though, I wished I stayed closer to the beach area. Jasayma is a 4-km walk to the beach trails. With its location so close to the park entrance and right next to the road (and all its noises), I might as well have been staying in town and gotten something that was better value.

Nori is the star of the show here. Genuinely never met a friendlier and more energetic host, who gives time to each guest. She speaks in a Spanish that’s really easy to understand, and learn from! Even for us who do not speak Spanish. Thank you for your service and smile! The shared toilets and showers were really good and cleaned regularly. The location being near El Zaino entrance to the park is great and also regular shuttles take you to the hiking start point for a small fee which is helpful!
We were aware staying in Tayrona would come with limitations, and we knew our room specifically was essentially open to the elements but with a roof over your head. What we didn’t understand was the proximity to the other 3 rooms you share the top floor with, which don’t have a ceiling, and headboards literally all adjoin the other rooms, so you hear everything - every cough and whisper. You are basically sharing the same room, you just can’t see each other. The mosquito net on the double was too small to properly cover the foot and head with two people, so we ended deciding to sleep in the spare single as well. The plastic under sheet and pillows on the bed were also pretty grim. The other staff were a bit disengaged and unprofessional (we thought maybe having “in” jokes but hard to understand) and the food is very average compared to what we’ve been eating elsewhere across Colombia.

Beautiful surroundings within Tayrona Park. Nori (staff) was so incredible, warm, friendly and funny! Totally made us feel at home. Sad to leave her as it is truly the people who make our trips so memorable
Water stinks of sulphur -- would be nice to have it filtered.

We had a great stay at Jasayma. We were welcomed really nicely and everything about the hotel and the Parque Tayrona was explained to us. The staff speaks English and Spanish. The bathrooms were clean (as clean as outdoor facilities can be), the rooms were also really clean and beds comfortable. We stayed on the first floor with is an open space without windows and it was amazing. We were woken up but the sound of howler monkeys everyday and could hear the sounds of the wildlife during the night. Such a great experience. The breakfast was really good and the rest of the food was also okay. It's located near the entrance but you can take a collectivo to the starting points of all the hikes/walks to the playas.
We liked everything.
