Spa was leuk en nette kamers. Housekeeping was ook heel goed.

Studio: kookplaten werkte niet, een ei bakken lukte niet eens. Hiervoor naar de gemeenschappelijke keuken gegaan. Waren ook een aantal lampen kapot in onze kamer.

We had a Ghecko Cottage and it was cozzy with a sense of being in the middle of a rainforest.

Car parking was a short distance from unit and was hard to find due to lack of signage. Had a small bathroom basin that wasn't suitable for a man to shave.

Great little space close to Franz Josef glacier. Felt very peaceful and tranquil walking through the property also.

It was sufficient for one night, but the bathroom was extremely small if we were to be there longer

The property was tired inside needed redecoration vanity top was cracked and Bathroom needed revamp WC was dirty

The complex fits in perfectly with the environment. The unit was spotlessly clean and was very well equipped. It is in an ideal location for the local tourist attractions.

We found it strange that the Monsoon restaurant would not provide coffee for evening diners.

Heel mooi park waar je kamers kunt boeken maar ook met je camper kunt staan. Je waant je echt een beetje in de jungle. Vooraan hebben ze plek voor backpackers die ver genoeg van je af zitten zodat je er geen last van hebt. Ook hebben ze een fijn restaurant (nog ja kroeg) met goed eten. Houdt er wel rekening mee dat hier ook feesten worden gevierd en het er dan behoorlijk luid kan zijn qua muziek (dat hebben wij ondervonden met een live band waardoor we elkaar niet konden verstaan).

De bedden zijn erg zacht en de douche en wasbak zijn ontzettend klein.

The design and layout of the stilt structure surrounded by a forest and birds chirping constantly makes this a relaxing place to spend times.

The onsite restaurant, Monsoon, took two hours to serve our orders!!!!

Top-notch amenities, friendly staff, room service

Parking was a little tricky in some places but manageable

Great location with town and eating places within an easy walk. Our kitchenette was fantastic with everything you could want to self cater including a stove top and microwave. Laundry facilities were good though a drying rack in room would have been handy. We really appreciated the space with the high ceilings and the table for two in the green room effect seating area enhanced the room.

Very minor but if it had been raining we would have got quite wet getting our luggage along the path from the car and the parking space was very tight. But once car and luggage was stowed we could walk everywhere.

Kaimahi House totally exceeded expectations and was perfect for our group of 6 singles. So clean and arrived to the heaters on in our rooms so they were warm to walk into. The bar and restaurant on site also made for a fun night out in bad weather. The spa was a huge bonus! We were all stoked with it and will be back!

location is very good, you can easily walk to the main street and there is a pub attached to the accomodation

Unfortunately, one of our bookings had an unexpected guest enter the room in the night, I think there was a mix up with keys when collecting after reception hours.

Very comfortable, clean and well equipped and in a great location, hot tub an added bonus. Would definitely stay again.

We only stayed one night and we couldn't get the air conditioning to work during a hot day, nor the heating when it cooled on the evening however if we had stayed longer we would have sought assistance. We searched for instructions but couldn't find any - maybe ensure that these are handy?

Feels like a rain forest

Location is easy to find and situated in a fantastic rainforest environment - the name really is fitting! Reception staff was friendly & helpful, trying to assist us as best as possible, although they seemed to be somewhat under-staffed (not a fault of the accommodation). Restaurant on the premises is cozy and has some tasty treats!

We booked a budget room for two and kinda got what could be expected. The bed was not that comfy, however, and the shower was almost too hot to use, since we couldn't get any cool water out of it. (Note: we were told that maintenance would be fixing this particular issue.)

very happy with the place. look much better than the photos. the site is like a holiday park layout, very well equipped everything. we even got a jacuzzi and sauna. the room is surround with trees, like living in a forest. we would love to come back again.

The roads within the complex are all loose gravel. Since we had travelled by bus and not a car , we had to pull the heavy suitcases through the gravel to the reception on arrival which was not easy. However the girls at the reception were really nice and took our suitcases in the truck to the Gecko house which was further away. Dragging the suitcases at check out was a pain!!
