Lovely place for a treat , we stayed in the side annex which has its own privacy which was wonderful. Grassington is so lovely and highly recommended for a relaxing time.

Everything from the location in town and all walks was perfect. The building itself was stunning. We arrived early on the day of our stay (lunchtime) I had messaged the hotel to check if we could leave our cars in the carpark. We were greeted by the owner on our way out and she kindly gave us our key and a lovely gentleman showed us our room and the guest lounge which had a real fire and honesty bar. We were also upgraded to a room with a huge bed! The breakfast was impeccable as were the facilities in the rooms. We had a great stay and will definitely be back! What a gem of a place! Tucked away but central, everything here is perfect and ticks every box. But what makes this place really special is that there is a very genuine feeling that your stay matters and that you are looked after. We are fairly seasoned travellers and have rarely felt this level of genuine hospitality. We had really bagged a deal on an out of season Sunday evening, the owners could have easily taken off a few of the touches to maximise their profits but they didn’t. We were still very much looked after. Thankyou for a very memorable stay.

Everything was just perfect. The breakfast was delicious with great choices. The two ladies who served our breakfast had excellent customer standards. We had a very warm welcome upon arrival. Every room was exceptionally clean. Car park was brilliant with a nice outside area to sit weather permitting.

Lovely building, great facilities including communal lounge. Brilliant location. Rooms were nice and warm with a complimentary little bottle of Prosecco for Valentine’s Day stay- classy touch. Breakfast was DELICIOUS. Quality ingredients and nice portion size. Overall, a great stay.

Everyone involved was friendly and made us feel welcome. Our room was clean and warm with a lovely view from the window. Breakfast was excellent.

As our room was above the entrance hall it was very noisy when people passed through there. Conversations could be clearly heard. Whilst we were very grateful that there was a carpark, the entrance is very tight. I wouldn't have liked to have driven anything bigger than my juke through it. Thankfully for those with bigger cars there are a few places at the front.

Property was beautiful. The owners were friendly and welcoming our room which was really cosy with a free-standing bathtub. The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. we also received some complimentary prossecco in our room, which was a nice touch 😀 The breakfast was also amazing, and the location of the property is right in the centre of everything, which is ideal we booked a table at the Devonshire which is literally right at the side of the property we will definitely be returning to this little gem 💎 just wonderful and relaxing Thanks again for a great stay

The property is set in a great location very close to the centre of the village. It is beautifully presented and sits it lovely gardens, internally it is full of charm and was so comfortable and welcoming.

it was a perfect location in the centre of Grassington - ideal base to go for walks on locality.

only small details & didn’t spoil the experience ….but the property was very cold on arrival and took quite a while to warm up also there was no toilet paper in 2 of 3 toilets (luckily we’d brought some).

I cannot recommend Ashfield House enough! From the moment we arrived with a very warm welcome, to the moment we checked out we were really well taken care of. It is a real 'chocolate box' house with quick and easy access to a lovely bustling village or alternatively a stones throw from the rolling Dales for a stroll. Our room was perfect, cosy, great cleanliness and character. A gorgeous window seat overlooking the cottage garden was perfect for a few pages of a good book. Then sinking into a deep bath with a complimentary prosecco was such a treat. The bed was so comfortable that I didn't want to get up, I can't lie, but breakfast smelt soooo good. And it did not disappoint! Breakfast was scrumptious, with good quality butchers sausages and thick bacon, along with quality coffee! The whole house is well thought out with tasteful decor, a cosy lounge with fireplace to share, it is clear the owners really do CARE about your stay. They are literally sharing an idillic home with you. I really would love to stay again, in fact I intend to make a point of it.

this is the best location. really quaint and homely. the breakfast was epic and the communal lounge was cozy with a wood burner and honesty bar. we used this a few times to play games. there were cookies and sweets in reception too - nice touch!

the only minor downside was thin curtains in our room and we overlooked the front making the room quite bright - no problem if you have an eye mask.

We had the most wonderful time. We arrived early and I was a little under the weather - we were happily accepted earlier than book in time. The room was cosy and clean - the mattress was unbelievable. The little touches in the room were really appreciated, especially by my other half - biscuits and prosecco!

I cannot say I didnt like anything - the only thing being rather tall I have booked a king size bed for next time ;) Everything else was perfect!
