The staff at the Vine are exceptional. Nothing was too much from arrival to departure,, even went out for fresh vegan ingredients for breakfast! Thank you for a lovely stay.

It needs investment but the team make up for the tired interior.

Location was ideal for what we needed

Decor a bit dated.

Perfect town centre location for a night out, especially if you have theatre tickets for the gatehouse. With my mobility issues we had room 1 which is level access off the old coach yard and it was exceptionally spacious, clean and comfortable. Cannot praise enough the welcoming and friendly staff!!

Good location if you want stay in the town, nice evening meal and good value.

I understand that this is an extremely old inn but the noisy floor boards do keep you awake. With breakfast one price should mean you get orange juice and coffee but this was extra also no toast .

Lovley staff! Room was very clean and bed and shower were to die for! Going miss the bed! Easy check in. Really good location! 100 percent would stay again

Our stay was excellent value for money. I booked early and was so glad I did as the train strikes would have made it difficult to get home otherwise and no doubt pushed up the prices of accommodation in the area. The town centre location is brilliant and the beds (as always) were really comfortable, meaning I had a great nights sleep. I have stayed here before and will definitely stay again

The room was a little on the small side compared to a twin room I’ve stayed in here before and there was no bath (which disappointed my friend more than me). Otherwise everything was excellent

Really enjoyed my stay at the Vine. Centrally located so really easy to get to all of Stafford's shops and restaurants. The staff were really friendly and welcoming and breakfast was served 8am until 11am and was great value. If popping to Stafford for a visit I thoroughly recommend staying here. Excellent value for money and relaxed, homely atmosphere.

It's an old building so narrow stairs and corridors, creaky floorboards and a few areas could be updated slightly. But that's if I'm nitpicking. Really great place to stay overall.

Ideal central location. Room and bed were clean and comfortable and staff were pleasant.

Carpark could be very cramped when nearly full. Bathroom and especially shower could do with updating.

The staff were so friendly. Easy to check in. Easy to find my room and facilities. Food was good value, and pleasant. The bed was comfy and the bedding was nice. Was a budget stay, and it suited my needs.

The room was really dated. Windows were very old and one wouldn’t even close , and as I was staying alone on the ground floor, that made it hard for me to sleep , as anyone could of got in. The carpets need replacing , and the bathroom was also in need of a revamp. The tv had sound over programmed in so was distracting? But it did work.

sweet little pub, lovely staff

Typical English hotel/pub, near the center of Stafford. Not too expensive for current prices in England. Personnel quite friendly.

Better organization of personnel recommended.
