Staff were very friendly

A few days prior to arrival we were told that we were to be moved to a room above the restaurant, as the beach/pool view room we booked online had plumbing issues. We were also told the restaurant would cause minimal disruption. Unfortunately, the room we paid for was pool and beach view and the The room we received had partial beach and no pool view. The room was also extremely noisy throughout the day and into the early hours of the morning making it impossible to sleep. While I appreciate I was given the option to have a refund, i was only made aware of the situation a few days beforehand, and all of Noosa (which is often the case) was booked out. I was charged full price for a less than adequate described room. At no stage was I offered a discount or any other compensation for the inconvenience. I was left disappointed and wish I cancelled our weekend.

Studio apartment rather cramped but other facilities made up for it

The location, view, pool and decor was world-class. Complimentary breakfast of pastries and fruit salad provided at reception was a nice touch, wasn’t expecting it.

For the price we paid, we would have expected broken down amenities such as the pool spa - to be fixed with urgency. It was just left out of order. On a weekend! When we asked staff whether it would be fixed they didn’t seem fazed by the fact it would be out of order all weekend. If you are charging top dollar you need to provide a top dollar experience. This left us a little unimpressed. The air conditioning wasn’t easy to adjust, there were no instructions left in the apartment. And be warned about noise on the weekends. We had a very bad night’s sleep on the Friday night with nightclub goers being noisy throughout the night, even on a beach facing apartment. All in all, while it Is undoubtedly beautiful, I think it is overpriced for the service and experience.

Perfect location, great access to street and beach. Very close to restaurants and shops. Modern well designed rooms. Easy access car park, even for 4WDs.

The rooms on the Hastings Street side are noisy with clubs at night and street traffic (garbage trucks etc) early in the morning.
