Breakfast /restaurant - very good

Rooms and furniture needs renovation. Very dark in roof rooms. Air conditioning does not working properly. No bicycle rent possibilities as stated in the brochure. Low value for money.

unusual place with unusual design

it seems rooms need some renovation. there was an issue with toilet flushing which was surprising that cleaners didnt inform staff about that upfront.

Very nice location, and breakfast was just perfect !

A bit confusing was with the entrance of the hotel, we couldn’t see any signs showing where to enter the hotel at dark and park our car.

Breakfast was delicious. The suite was as shown in the pictures, very clean and spacious.

The receptionist could have been friendlier. They were not sure about the opening times for the monastery, and did not ask us whether our stay was okay or not at check out.

Impressive menu, nice history and beautiful location to chill. Very helpful stuff

TV was too small (17inch?) and it was not visible from bed because of an interior design blocking the tv. Wifi was poorly and cuts every 15mins or so

- The location is really unique, really beautiful lake and park nearby. Interior is really authentic. - The room was spacious enough, high ceilings look great. - The food was really good - Quiet room and facilities - Great restaurant staff

- Internet in the room was unusable, kept disconnecting or super slow, basically I didn't have working internet in the room at all - To turn on the heating we had to get the remote from the reception by special request - Even with heating on it was not very comfortably warm in the room - The ceiling under the bed is really low so you have to crouch into the bed and be always careful to not hit the head - Restaurant room was really cold during the breakfast, so I had to eat with my winter down jacket on - There were no slippers in the room and the floor was tiled, so it wasn't very pleasant to walk on it with bare foot. We've got the slippers only the second morning - The floor in the shower is really slippery. I slipped and cracked my head. According to British and European hotel standards the floor has to be non-slippery, this hotel doesn't have this - Next day room service didn't stock up the water - It's really overrated and too expensive for such a quality. Unless you like to pay just for the view and "fancy" interior - Part of the staff feel like they don't care about guests

Very quiet place, full of history. Amazing architecture. Beautiful landscape, even November time! Food was exeptional, very nice selection of wines to complement menu. Staff very polite and inclusive. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants some peace and quiet. Wonderful place to rest. Especially off season! Will definitely be coming back again, thank you for hospitality.

An amazing hotel in an old monastery just outside Kaunas with stylish rooms and a great restaurant. Great walks just outside the door.

The lack of attention of details brings the score down a bit. So, makeshift candleholders and synthetic napkins is not my cup of tea.
