The host was very hospitable and helpful, the location is relatively new. The breakfast was very good and it contained something different each day. We also took the optional dinner choices twice, which was also good. Most of the the place is a wood-based large building, which gives an interesting touch. Furniture is in tone with that. The location is on a natural river valley with nice scenery. The air is crisp and cool, which is good especially during hot summer days.
Of course because the building was mostly wood, the soundproof was weaker, yet noises heard from outside were manageable, we had a pleasant sleep. The road up to the location is tarmac only half of it, making it a bit more timely to get in and out of the valley.

Location is very nice, green space, very relaxing. The staff is friendly and helpful, attentive to their guests. The food selection is small, but very good.
The last 4km of road are difficult, but that's not something the property can control.

the style of the place is amazing.
the location is great in the middle of the mountain.
the woman who owns the place was greetfull amd helped us alot. also gave us a free coffe at the morning.
i have arrived late at night when it was so dark.
the main door was locked and nobody answered our calls.
i had to open the gate by my self to park the car.
the guy who works at the reception welcomed me with papers that i have to sign and didnt care that my family are trying to park the car.
after that he said my shift is ended and gone.

Loved it! Great location in the mountains, lovely host (who spoke perfect English) and really characterful property. Perfect place to relax or explore.

Very well equipped, great location, tucked away from the hassle and bustle of the town. Ideal for groups and small gatherings weekend away.

The fact that when we arrived, we knew that there is breakfast, but wasn’t because the owners were gone and it was a little bit cold in the room over night and in the morning

We stayed for 2 nights, came with a large dog and enjoyed every moment!
The owners are very kind, speak english perfectly and were there for every question and request we had!
The place is very well equiped (kitchen and BBQ area), so we had only to bring the groceries (PROFI market 10 minutes drive at Rucar, even having fresh meat, dairy and vegies). We took breakfast by the owner (delicious!) and supper cooked our own.
The rooms are spacious, very warm and pleasant, with comfortable beds and private toilet and shower. Sound isolation is as mentioned by the owner, but the area was very quiet during our stay. Wifi reception was very good everywhere on the premises .
Surroundings: 5-10 minutes drive further to the forest provided a pleasant walk of 3 hours, and you can also clinb the hill behind the cabin.
Regarding the dogs- we managed them not to interact (they didn’t get along), and we had no problems walking him around the cabin. The owners dogs are nice once they get to know you.

It was a great weekend at Cabana Ancutei! Great location, great view and super food! The room was clean, and it was a pleasure to have different discussions with the owners. We will return for sure, to enjoy the location and the food! 👍🏻
