Stayed overnight last night on our way to Spain. Jeanne-Phillipe and his family are very warm and welcoming hosts.
The room was beautifully renovated and very comfortable.
Dinner and breakfast was excellent! We would love to visit again

The property is beautiful, really spectacular to look at. The rooms were newly refurbished so it was lovely to stay in a ‘brand new’ room. The property is pet friendly and there was ample space for our dog to have a run around.The host was very welcoming and met us to show us to our room, he also offered us an evening meal.
unfortunately the swimming pool wasn’t ready. The rooms are small, a little too small I think. I stayed for just one night and I think that it wouldn’t be suitable to much longer stays. Having been newly refurbished there was notices around saying that you can’t have your own food in your room, however it’s quite remote so unless you want to eat what the host cooks you then you’re a bit stuck. No breakfast was offered.
The is nothing inherently wrong with this property, it’s clean, beautiful and friendly, but I thought it was a bit too expensive for what was on offer, and in the end it just wasn’t for me.

Welcomed and looked after by the friendly owner and his family. We stayed in two different rooms on our two visits and each was beautiful. A very relaxing stay and the evening cold cut boards were delicious, as was the breakfast. A fantastic wine list and a stunning pool. This is now our stop near Bordeaux, there’s no need to look further.

The breakfast was excellent with high quality local produce.The location was tranquil with good access to Bordeaux, Blaye and the vineyards. Jean-Philippe and Virginie could not have been more welcoming with great suggestions as to how we could make the most of our visit to this part of France.

Room is a bit tiny and a bit expensive for what it was. The road near the house is a bit lousy.

Lovely room, very comfortable bed, good aircon. The hosts have thought about all the little details to make the stay perfect. The grounds are beautiful with a lovely pool!

Very nice room, lot of privacy and a good and quiet place to stay. Lovely pool and garden and polite staff. Great place to explore the area!
Wifi barely worked, breakfast was a bit basic and no restaurants within walking distance.

Location was good for our onward journey, the continental breakfast was also tasty. Room was a converted pigeonnier, so the space was a bit limited and not much storage for clothes. The bed was upstairs on a mezzanine level and the slope of the roof meant that there was limited headroom when getting in/out of the bed (I am 1.88m tall). The room was fine for a 1 night stay, but I would not recommend it for any longer stay.

It was a great room, nice garden and pool. Geez cozy and comfortable
There is no restaurant or bar around in walking distance. About 5-7 km you can find a place but there are only very few and not always open.
If it’s raining and you cannot walk or enjoy the pool you cannot sit in a cafe reading for example. The area is nice but very calm and not a lot to do on rainy days.

Bad start to our stay as the owners were not even there to welcome us! Waited outside for a while, then called the mobile number I had. We were given the code to the gate so we could get in, but it was another 40 minutes before anyone arrived. Very poor welcome. The room was fine - designer chic, but quite small and cramped.
See above. Also no restaurants anywhere near the property. We drove for 20 minutes to the place the owner recommended - the worst meal of our 3 week trip to France. So for us, an inconvenient location and rather arrogant owners who made us feels as if they were doing us a favour by allowing us to stay in their house, though the price they charge is high. We will not be back.

Beautiful property. The descriptions of the rooms were accurate. The pool area and grounds are sublime. A peaceful oasis.
