Stunning hotel, great location Friendly helpful staff

Lovely location, clean tidy and staff were so helpful.

Very lovely renovation of a period building. Room had a kitchen. Very large room, comfortable bed and the bathroom had a bath ( and shower). The lounge area is beautiful. Good use of antique furniture and modern lighting. Lovely bar/ breakfast area. Great situation in Lectoure.

No air con in our room. We thought breakfast was included in the price but it wasn’t and there wasn’t a lot of options. Staff were rude on our first night

Do NOT order room service. We thought we would treat ourselves to room service one night. The menu was very limited but thought it would be alright. We ordered ravioli, mushroom risotto, and 2 crepe Suzette’s. All of the dishes were served in glass jars (even the crepe Suzette’s) and we were told if they weren’t warm enough we could heat them in the microwave! No where on the menu did it say that every thing came in jars that were just heated up. They were NOT good. We brought up our concerns and we’re told they would get in touch with management. They said they deducted the cost of the crepe Suzette’s but the price for the 2 “mains” and 2 drinks was still $90 and they would not budge.

We had the very smallest of the available rooms and had I known there were larger rooms within that category, I would have requested one.

Very comfortable hotel with beautiful outside area to enjoy a coffee or drink.

Helpful and pleasant staff. Good location in a nice setting. Especially liked the little courtyard. Liked having the kettle and hob etc in the room.

The breakfast was expensive for what you got and they seemed to run out of basic items like sliced bread if you went down later

The location is excellent, situated on the main street of Lectoure making it easy to access all the amenities. The renovation of the building to a hotel has been done well to create a luxury feel. The beds were very comfortable.

I was sharing the room with my mother and I had messaged in advance to ask for the beds to be made up as a twin, which they had but the beds were still butted up together and therefore we had to separate them. My understanding of a twin is that the beds are separate, which they have been in every other hotel we have stayed in. The beds were made up with duvets, despite being 27C, we asked for sheets which were provided but we had to make up our own beds. The rooms have a kitchenette but no linens are provided e.g. tea towels/dish clothes are provided, again we asked and we got a tea towel. There are no hooks in the bathroom. Our room had access to the garden and on arrival we had a table and chairs and a lounge chair, the next day when we went to sit out the lounge chair had been taken by another guest, there should be enough for all guests to be able to access the loungers. One last thing, there was no milk for the tea and coffee and when we asked for some, we were told we couldn't have any, on the second asking we were given a small jug. These are small niggles but when you price we did I find these unacceptable.
