Sehr zentrale Lage. Preis/Leistung unschlagbar.
Übernachte für gewöhnlich nicht in Hostels, aber die Preise im August für DZ oder Apartment sind utopisch. Waren 3 Nächte im gemischten Mehrbettzimmer und 3 Nächte im DZ.
DZ kann man absolut empfehlen, hier nutzt man auch eine andere Küche als bei den Mehrbettzimmern, welche moderner und top ausgestattet ist. Auch 2 Bäder sind modern und sauber.
Matratze im DZ war gut. Endlich vernünftig schlafen.
Schuhe müssen extra stehen. Nur Barfuß oder mit Schlappen erlaubt. Das ist auch gut so, denn die Schuhe stinken erbärmlich!
Hosteltypisch hatte man Glück oder Pech mit den Zimmergenossen. In unserem Fall: Laut, rücksichtslos und erkältet.
Matratze im Mehrbettzimmer/Etagenbett ist ein Witz. So dünn dass man direkt auf der Holzplatte liegt (Lattenrost gibt es nicht). Konnten kaum schlafen so unbequem war es.
Badezimmer könnten sauberer sein. VIELE tote Fliegen morgens auf den Waschbecken, das war echt eklig.
Zudem viele Frauen, die alles verdreckt hinterlassen. Kann das Hostel natürlich nix für.
Der Geruch wo die Schuhe unten stehen ist wortwörtlich Mief hoch zehn. Unglaublich. Bitte stellt hier mal Dufterfrischer auf.
Die Zimmer Türen gehen mit ner Karte auf. Leider macht das nachts inkl. Tür zufallen lassen, starke Geräusche was bei 8 Personen die gefühlt nur laut sind und ständig raus und reingehen echt nervig war.

The location is wonderful close to the train station . There is a nice outdoor seating area. The communal kitchen is large and well set up with individual spaces in the fridge and pantry. There is also the added bonus of a laundromat associated with this property.
I was disappointed with our room. We stayed three nights. It was probably the smallest room on the property . We had no balcony and we were under the eaves so half our room was comprised by a slanted roof. In the future I will ask a property specifically for a balcony.

We love each and every bits of this place! We can see the Staubbach Waterfalls from our room! Room is okay near to bathroom for the second floor.

There was a kitchen and common area. The common area was cleaned evey day. The showers where always hot and refreshing, but not always cleaned.
The grill in the kitchen didn't work. The stove was stupid without any instructions. Everyone used to spend half an hour to fire it up.
The staff where rude,if I don't say their behavior was racist. They used to talk about some hostel rules, that was written nowhere with a angry impolite tone of voice.

The staff very super friendly and helpful. The hostel was very clean and tidy, everything was spotless. Great location, only a couple minutes walk from the train station and cable car.

Everything about it was amazing! Love love loveeeee the location as it was extremely accessible to both the train station and cable car. The staff were super hospitable and helpful
and it was super clean for hostel standards. It's a real value for money and you get to wake up to the beautiful view of the Alps for a reasonable price. I stayed here for 3 days and I'll definitely return in the future!
The only complaint is that I stayed on the ground floor so you can hear foot stomping from the floor above at night. If you're a light sleeper, that might be a problem.

Great location right near the station. Clean shared bathroom/shower. Room was adequate with necessary shelving. Amazing view. Clean kitchen with everything you need to cook.
Sheets/quilt covers were oddly sized and not fitting - annoying to sleep in. Pillow was hollow and not supportive.

High value for money, location is very strategic, with electric charging station
Sharing of indoor slippers (guest should have been asked to bring their own slippers for sanitary purposes), dishwashing sponge should be provided and changed on a daily basis so the dishes will be cleaned properly, ear plugs should be provided

The front desk is staffed during designated times only so if you have questions, you will need to ask during those designated times, or using the messaging app. When I did ask questions using the app and in person (during the designated times), the staff provided answers simply without any issues. If you are used to staying at fully staffed hotels as I was until this trip, it will just take getting used to staying at a hostel, and this hostel seems to be extremely well designed and managed.

The kitchen is so well equipped! It helped us save a lot of the dining cost in Lauterbrunnen knowing that food isn’t cheap in Switzerland. We have eight in the room but we didn’t feel crowded at all.
The hostel practice house shoe policy, no earlier notification was given so i was on barefoot. Luckily the place is clean enough. If you are coming it’s always good to bring a pair of slipper with you.

Amazing views from the room and backyard, perfect location, staff was super friendly and gave great advice and discount for activities, good kitchen
