Very beautiful property a bit dirty on the sink but all good the location is perfect and so beautiful

I was there for three nights and they didn’t clean at all. The bathroom and the whole equipment are quite old. Employees were shooting at animals with a slingshot - without any need. Breakfast wasonly average.

central location but down a quite side street. staff were lovely as was the pool!

The room smelt a little musty. The furniture and decor was a little tired.

The bathroom is moldy and the smell of sewage permeates everything.

Relaxing stay, big and comfortable room with a big bed, a nice pool. Small, but tasty breakfast. Helpful staff. I'm glad I've stayed there for two weeks.

- breakfast could be a bit bigger - something to separate the shower from the toilet would be nice

Nothing at all. this place is the best

Really lovely friendly staff; very welcoming and helpful. Very comfortable bed and a good-sized room. Shower room was small and dark but bedroom and balcony were great. The restaurant, garden and pool area are really lovely and very clean and tidy.

Birds in small cages always upset me (although lots of places incarcerate birds).

I loved everything about this place, the location was great, down the end of a quiet street. The staff we just wonderful, so helpful and kind made us fell like family. We spent 24 days here doing a yoga course. Was the perfect place to come home to after a hard day. The gardens and grounds were immaculate, just so serene and peaceful and so well maintain. The pool was beautiful too. It was sad to leave. Can't rate thus place highly enough and be sure to make this a place to return to next time I visit Ubud. Thank you all for making our trip so enjoyable. And especially loved Zomma the dog.

Clean, excellent location

Giant cockroaches at the bathroom, the deluxe room(ironically the most expensive) has a big gap (like 4cm!) at the entire door-edge which cannot be closed so you will not only have mosquitoes but also spiders, cockroaches, lizards, wasps/hornets or big insects in your room and there is nothing you can do about it except maybe spraying a ton of bug spray where the gap is all the time, and also the AC will not as effective because air is leaking out from the balcony door because of the gap.

Amazing place,spacious room and clean pool. Location was also very suitable.

Everything was great The viev from room was very nice

The room was perfect for the price we paid, bed was comfortable, bathroom was roomy. The pool at this property is incredible and the breakfast was good. The staff are helpful with booking excursions and recommending places to go. The location is amazing with easy walking to all parts of Ubud.

such a beautiful property, I was amazed for the price I paid. I had a beautiful room with giant windows that overlook the garden and pool.

The only bad this is there is no fridge it your room but you don’t really need it and I think you can use the kitchen fridge to put drinks in if needed

I don't like to post a review like this, but when I arrived I found the room had a really strong damp moudly smell and also saw mould on the ceiling. It was stronger than any other hotel or hostel I have stayed at, and I thought it would be bad for my health to stay in this room. I spoke to the manager about it and they agreed to refund me in full (and I stayed at another guesthouse nearby). However, they still have not processed the refund, even though I returned back to the guesthouse twice to ask about it and have also emailed them. They say their managing company needs to process it, but it has been over a month since the booking so it feels very dishonest. I have stayed at other places in Ubud since and they have been not had the same mould and smell problem as this guesthouse.

So beautiful homestay, clean and perfect location. Friendly people that makes you feel you are at home. I visit Bali almost every year and always stay at Bucu!
