It was enroute for our hike on the Dingle Way
Staff weren’t very helpful or friendly in comparison to everywhere else we stayed on our hike - felt like we were annoying them with every request/question, even in the restaurant/pub for dinner.

Everything you need under one roof.
Nothing around it but it didn’t matter as the hotel has everything you need. Food, a bar and a nice room

the location and the owners were wonderful. the food great. Loved the live music at night.
nothing

Quiet rural location, short drive to centre of Dingle

A warm welcome, good food, great music, a generous breakfast and friendly service. We stayed two nights and it was perfect. The location is about 12 km from Dingle and a great place if you're walking the mountain passes or just want to enjoy the beautiful Kerry countryside. We were there for the Friday night when they had traditional musicians in so we had a great night.

Superb location surrounded by sheep pastures. Great owners who also run the pub with really nice food and a great bar. The breakfast was a wonderful start into the day. Room was large and well-equipped. This is one of the nicest areas in Ireland to visit, very scenic and with lots of hikes and sites to see, and this is a great place to stay.

Pub on premises, early check in, great staff… very accommodating!
Random (drunk?) woman knocked on our door loudly around midnight yelling “Mickey?! Mickey?! Are you in there Mickey?!”. When I answered “no” she immediately went across the hallway to the next guest room to repeat what she just did. NOT a great way to wake up in the middle of the night. Not sure what the Pub/Guesthouse could’ve done but we were still bothered and didn’t appreciate it.

Friendly staff and wonderful food .Good drink in comfortable bar.

The burger on the evening menu was the best I've tasted.
I'm sorry I didn't book another night's stay

Couldn’t recommend this place enough food was amazing Breakfast was so fresh and delicious it was spotless the only fault I found was I was charged 160 euro but my booking was made through booking.com and it was supposed to be 135 euro and that included breakfast but other than that I couldn’t fault it

The area around is so beautiful and quiet since it’s a few minutes away from Dingle.
Rooms were very spacious and clean. The hosts are lovely people and made us feel at home. We had a great time here!
4.7
Location, history, restaurant and pub are all part of the property.
wifi didn’t work

location
Tea and coffee facilities not in rooms, but in a guest area. Not much good if you want an early morning cuppa. Tv not working. Heat not on at night. 120 euros is a lot to pay. would have expected better!
4.7
the breakfast was lovely and freshly made. plenty of choice for off menu foods. The beds are super comfortable and the view from rooms is simply amazing. There is a lovely lounge area where we spent out time relaxing and watching the most beautiful sunset. Highly recommended.
I really couldn't say, as we were very pleased with everything. My kids even had food in the pub in afternoon, and it was amazing, compared with other place we had been in Dingle for Lunch.

We originally worried about sleeping above a pub, but this is a small local pub, not a disco. The rooms were roomy and quiet, and the location was great—quiet countryside. Restaurant downstairs had some of the best meals we’ve had on our 2 week trip. And we also got to feed some lambs—thanks, Morris!

Nice pub/guesthouse with good views of the mountains (or fog covering them...!). Kind people, comfy beds, good shower and very good breakfast and dinner!
Honestly I have to say that the prices of accommodation are insane. This is however NOT the fault of this property, which was great and price-wise in line with the rest of Dingle.

Great selection , cereals , croissants , yougurts , fruit , juices and hot breakfast selection . Pleasant staff , very good service .Evening food menu was very good ,really enjoyed the dinner and dessert. Definitely will return .
Can't really fault it , if i'm being very critical mabey a small selection of alcopops in the bar like smirnoff ice for example .

Lovely breakfast, very friendly staff and great bar food.

Friendly family-owned b&b with an intimate pub where we met and chatted with charming locals and delighted in hearing Irish spoken. They served an amazing Irish breakfast before giving us critical advice about ascending Mount Brandon. We loved our stay and highly recommend An Bothar Pub.

Stayed as a small group of friends travelling though Ireland on our motorcycles. Our rooms were clean and comfortable, with all expected facilities. The staff were all friendly and engaging and our meals, cooked by the young chef were of a superb quality. Private parking for the bikes by the hotel. Superb location for us, on the Dingle Peninsular with spectacular views. Splendid.. the best of Ireland..

Breafast was great, I enjoyed the stay it was a pity the tea and coffee facilities were not available because of covid. Even thou they offered to serve it from the kitchen. The staff were very friendly and a credit to the management. A lovely homely feeling.
nothing at all
