The staff and the Hotel entertainment and the breakfast excellent.
We found the restaurants did not reflect in the prices we paid, food was mediocre, seriously lacked in standard to price and taste. Very mass produced in flavour. Disappointed

Facilities and staff
Show was canceled Rambling Dubliners, take that poor replacement.
Due to the Rally of the lakes, it was a bit noisy but to be expected.

When we wanted to check in early we were told there would be a wait and reception would call us when the room was ready. As we hadn’t heard an hour later I tried reception again and a lovely man moved things around to get us into a room. Really appreciated it and great view from the room 😍😍
The staff in o’d restaurant at both breakfast on our first morning and dinner on our second night were so lovely.
We couldn’t add a tip to the card machine.
So unfair on such hard working staff.

Staff were friendly. Room was clean. Breakfast was nice but but the buffet was only warm.
Backstage bar, very grotty looking. Bar near reception, full of kids. There should be an adult only space to accomadate everyone. 9e for a glass of wine... too expensive.
Triple room, tiny and needs serious updating. Bathroom so small. We spent 1040 two rooms, 2 nights b&b. Overpriced for what we got.

Receptionist at check in
9.30 breakfast booked let in after 15 minutes as other guests were told to wait while bus tours were looked afer and waved through . Got breakfast then had to beg for tea and toast after everything cold . worst . Stay at any hotel I can remember just don't seem interested in ordinary guests

Location. Facilities excellent.brilliant breakfast. Staff very attentive especially the managers on duty were exceptinal.

Staff were exceptional on reception. First hotel stay with our kids due to to covid etc and they made it so special. Reception staff gave them a little 'Glen' teddy each. Had given prior notice of our sons birthday and staff had left sweets chocs and a lovely birthday card in our room. Restaurant staff played happy birthday and made a fuss. Free admission to show.. only went for a short while as kids came too but they were so excited with their night out to see Gina! Had use of pool next day even after checkout which was great.
Room was really lovely.. too hot if anything but very comfortable. Bit of noise at night as events on but nothing major at all. Wouldn't let it put me off.
