Amazing and unforgettable views of Sorrento with Mont Vesuvius looming in the distance. our apt was comfortable and spacious with an AC unit (perfect for 100 degree heat). We took others advice and had the lovely and welcoming Ornello (and Sergei) make us a multi-course Italian feast with wine on her terrace. her culinary talents are unbeatable and we will never forget this incredibly special experience! (do not skip this! everyone should have Ornello’s food!) In the high heat we loved a dip in the pool (small above ground unit perfect for a dip or for kids). sit poolside with a beer and you will be in heaven!

As other reviews warned (and we learned the hard way), you absolutely need a car to access this property.. Ornello and Sergei went out of their way to help us navigate the bus schedule but twice we were stuck in town for 2-3 hours waiting…and waiting. The local busses are just too unreliable. the property is very comfortable though not updated. the apts are well equipped and private, but you will be staying in your soon-to-be-favorite Italian grandmothers apt. - not an updated hotel, which is part of this properties charm.

The host looked after us very well she couldn't do enough for us, made sure we got to where we were going. Made dinner and breakfast for us for a small fee. The views were amazing.

Nice warm welcome. Ornella sat us down and helped us plan out our days. The size of the apartment was good, the kitchen was clean, air conditioning/heater in each room. Ornella is a great cook and will cook lunch or dinner for you or you can learn to cook with her, she had bus tickets ready for us to get to the train station, made sure we got on the correct bus line. This is a great location to see Sorrento, Capri, Amalfi, Positano, Pompeii, Herculaneum, and Naples. Loved her cats!

We booked our trip (end of March) with some rain in the forecast. We had one day that was very windy, rainy and cold. We felt a draft in the apartment and had to keep the heat on and still felt a chill. We did have lots of warm blankets on all the beds. The view from our room was amazing even with bad weather.

First of all, I would like to make special highlight for sharing this Villa Walter what I had experienced before. This view out of the window was really awesome, speechless all the time whenever I had opened the window for taking a breath in the morning. Even sunset of view, it is really amazing view. During the stay, I had taken every morning, evening or night view from the window with my mobile camera, but the mobile camera performance cannot be capable to taking this beautiful view properly. The hostess(Ornella) is really warm-heart person what I had met to take travel in Italy. Every time she would like to give certain helpful information to take nice trip around Sorrento or Amalfi, Pompei, etc. It is really helpful to take certain advice about it. I got two special things from her when I arrived with long distance drive around 10hrs from the Netherlands. Thank you so much for that, Ornella. It cannot be an unforgettable memory about it.

Nothing. Only it is typical Italian road, especially touristic area. The parking is only problem but no big game changer of my travel. I cannot imagine the front of road from Villa how many cars can be possible to park.

We saw Vesuvio from our bedroom window. Ornella's hospitality and Italian dishes are brilliant. I absolutely recommend Villa Walter:-) We stayed there in November and were not lucky with the weather, but I guess in spring or summer it must be even more unforgettable. We are definitely planning to come back!

A must stay place if you are heading to the coast of Naples. A very welcoming host. Mind blowing views from the property. Excellent food and a special thanks to the delicious Lemonchello.

The size of the pool was misleading on the website. It was like an oversized bath tub.

Everything!!! The owner of the house is very accommodating and kind The house is very clean,elegant complete with all utensils in the kitchen We are surrounded with a very beautiful and breathtaking views!!!!

The views were GORGEOUS. Senora Ornella is an AMAZING HOSTESS. Her home-cooked meals were THE BEST we’ve had in Italy (in 5 months). We ate so much delicious food; reasonably priced for what you get and totally worth every cent. We were welcomed with fresh wine and peaches, and pastry upon arrival . We chose to eat dinner at the B&B the first night and it was so amazing we ate all our dinners there. Senora Ornella gave my son and I a cooking lesson (30€ per hour) which we enjoyed very much. Ornella gave us so much attention, as if she was our Nonna showing us lots of love.

The apartment could be cleaner with more attention to the washroom.

The villa is in a perfect place to take in the fantastic view of Vesuvius (you will need a car to get in to Sorrento). The apartment we stayed in was a little tired but was spotlessly clean and the hosts Ornella and Sergei are very friendly and really helpful. We arrived late on our first day and Ornella provided us with a complimentary wonderful homemade quiche to eat and a bottle of wine which we hadn't asked for and she didn't need to do so we were very grateful. The breakfast was plentiful and I would recommend it (the view from the dinning room is excellent). Ornella also cooked dinner (all 5-courses) for us whilst we were there and it was great- I didn't want to eat for a week afterwards! I would definitely recommend this villa and its very friendly hosts.
