The room I was assigned is clearly not designed to cope with people over the height of 5 foot 10, and there was no mention on the website of the half door to the bathroom, which I couldn’t get into. Nearly 7 feet tall, the bed was fairly useless and I didn’t get a moment. Sleep all night. A total waste of money. 

Breakfast was excellent,good choice of everything and owner very attentive, friendly and nothing seemed too much bother. I forgot to bring my phone charger and Ed found one for me. He was very patient when I didnt catch on to the workings of the front door right away and he took time to answer any general questions fully. Real value for money all round, thoroughly recommended and will definitely be back.

The breakfast was perfectly cooked, the coffee was freshly made in a cafetierre, refilled as soon as it ran out and the toast was hot (and lots of it). The hosts were friendly but not overbearingly so.

I licked its position on the sea front. My room although small was adequate for me being a single occupant. I was confused with the security front door but both John and Ed put me right on how it worked.The food and friendly service was excellent and plenty full ,all in all one of the best B&B’ I have stayed in. I would not hesitate to recommend the Craigwell to anyone I know who would be interested in somewhere to stay in Morecambe and also priced very reasonable. I

I can’t think of anything that I didn’t like so as far as I am concerned nothing needs to change.

There was a great choice for breakfast and the scrambled egg and smoked salmon was excellent. We also loved the crockery which was more upmarket than many other establishments. The owners were very attentive and helpful with regard to carrying suitcases to our room and suggesting places to visit.

We had a few problems operating the shower but we eventually figured it out by trial and error. When we did figure it out, there was ample hot water.

We stayed for two night, upgraded to a larger room for not a lot extra. Host was very friendly and welcoming, breakfast was superb (hand on heart, possibly the best fry up I gave had for years). Service at breakfast was excellent, toast and coffee refills were not a problem. If we were to visit Morcambe in the future I would certainly consider this B&B. Thanks to host and team.

Excellent location and lovely views from the room, with coffee table and chairs conveniently provided in the bay window. Friendly proprietors and superb breakfast.

The room decor was a little tired and in need of a refresh, but the welcome, facilities, breakfast and views more than made up for this.

Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. The location was on the sea front overlooking Morecambe Bay with a 10 to 15 minute walk to the centre. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The room was on the small side but was clean and had all the usual facilities. It was at the rear of the building which we knew at the time of booking - a sea view room would have made the stay exceptional.

Edward and John were wonderful. They were very accommodating for an earlier breakfast time, which was brilliant

The room was a little warm, but there was a fan there if you needed it

Lovely place, spotless, convenient, tasty breakfast, and very friendly staff. Helped out loads in making the stay easier, when my dad needed medical help, by letting us have a takeaway downstairs, before we headed to the hospital, as walking was painful for him. Very attentive and friendly.

The only thing I would have liked, which would have been my fault for not noticing they don't have them, would have been little shampoo sachets as I forgot my shampoo

The breakfast was superb and the hotel itself was very clean.

I cannot understand why the room was described as Superior single room when, in fact, it was nothing of the sort!! I have never before not had a sink in the "en suite" and a larger person would have had a struggle to use the toilet and shower!!! Being an older person, I find it very difficult to cope with all the advanced technology re the doors etc. The wall between the bedrooms must be very thin (perhaps the single room had been taken from the double) and it was difficult to sleep with all the snoring and noises.
