We stayed for 10 days at the wooden villas. It was the best accommodation we could think of. Super friendly and welcoming staff and owner. Very special and luxurious design for a great price! There is a lot of passion and heart in this place. We loved the food they served and they organized most activities for us. Its located very close to Ubud center, but completely in middle of peaceful natural environment. Whenever in Bali again, we will stay at Alam Dania.
All perfect! Except that we had to leave.

The place is really charming, locating directly in the rice fields (we deliberately did not want to stay in Ubud city). The staff is friendly and flexible. We rented scooters at the hotel and ordered lunch and dinner directly to our villa. The massages were amazing, even our kids really loved them.
The breakfast was lovely with fresh juice, fruit and a choice of either pancakes, toast, eggs or Indonesian food.
the free shuttle to Ubud was reduced to only 10 am and 7 p.m. If you needed it in between, you had to pay 68k IDR extra for each pick-up/drop-off.
The food was really nice, some of the meals could have been a bit bigger.

Everything was perfect and idyllic, better than I imagined. If I'm ever coming back to Bali, I'm going to stay there again. The stuff was amazing, very helpful and friendly. Communication through WhatsApp worked great too. Breakfasts were delicious and lovely served, same goes for the food from the menu. We tried a few different dishes and all of them were very tasty, also served in your own villa. Whatever we needed or ordered has been accommodated/delivered very quickly. The coconut scrub with massage and facial were really good too. There are shuttle buses to Ubud, but if you can't get ready on time (like us) you can get Grap from the main road for about RP80. I'd highly recommended the two bedroom villa.
The only thing it was missing, in my opinion, were towel hooks in the bathroom, and I would suggest to bring your own hairdryer if you're going to need it as those in the villa work very slow.
The only thing I didn't like, it was the fact, that I could only stay there for 4 nights 😉. So yes, there was nothing I didn't like!

Be careful! We booked this property - Alam Dania cottage, but were booked in another place deceptively/ ambiguously called Villas - Alam Dania. You need to walk about 300 meters in the middle of paddy fields to reach the villas and the location on Google maps is not accurate. So especially if you are checking in late at night - you are in for a nightmare!!
Punia seemed like a nice guy and the villas were good but this is fraud. Please double check with them over a message which property they will actually put you up in.

stunning location in the middle of rice terraces, quiet, luxurious feeling. staff exceedingly kind and friendly Private pools for each cottage!
the location is special because it is deep in the rice fields…unless you have a motorbike it’s about a six minute walk to the parking area. not a problem but a logistical consideration if you have a car. google maps location is not correct either - need to find the Alan Dania cooking school in town and have them lead you to the location. no signage from the street for the cottages

Getting to the property on motorbike via a very thin footpath with no cover during rainy days. Massage was in a open room during a rainy day so was a bit cold n not as I had expected as no candles anywhere

Great environment, lovely owner and staff, attention to detail, I felt extremely well looked after!
One additional shuttle to Ubud in the afternoon would have been nice. No big deal though.

I don't like that by the shower , near by the showers stand it has plants that is not removed so it is hard to stand and showers...the plants need to be removed away from the stand area for a easy to showers so it not touch my legs when showers...breakfast menu need to change to different dish or had more options so if we stay there longer we can pick different dish on breakfast....otherwise it is good here..thanks

everything was amazing, the accommodation and food were perfect. nonetheless, the breathtaking view will make you fall in love. many thanks to all the team but specially Dino and Jocki who are very hardworking, friendly and helpful people. you can count on the while in Alam Dania. 😊❤️

My daughter and I we had a Problem ….. we fell in love not only with the beautiful property also with the staff. Amazing Service. every day on time . We booked tours and trips through the Owner Mr Punia and it was very authentic. The Villa with Pool was the most peaceful place I ever booked . Privacy, Rice fields, Jungle and you sit and enjoy the dinner outside your villa . Paradise pure . Thank you so much for everything you did for us . Amazing place

The nature, staff very friendly and took care of us. The food was even better than some 3stars hotel. They should have one more star. The place for massage is amazing, nice view, in the middle of nature.

unique location between the ricefields and palmtrees. amazing! quiet area. you just hear the waterfalls and birds. it is nice to be in the quiet area where the local people lives. nice swimming pool! we enjoyed our stay!
the free shuttles by Punia are really nice so you can visit ubud city ar several times a day

Alam Dania is so lovely, comfortable and homely. The swimming pool is amazing and so are the views. The bedroom is great, spacious and very clean, it also has a really cool outdoor style bathroom - you can shower looking at the moon! The staff are the kindest people I have ever come across. Punia and Komang made our stay beyond perfect. It feels like you are part of a family when you stay here. Everyone is so smiley and kind! I wish I could have stayed for longer!

The second time we stayed here, and it was perfect again: lovely location just outside Ubud. Total tranquility, beautiful rooms, and the spa was excellent: very professional massage. Loved it here!

I like the semi outdoor bathroom. Staff were very friendly. Beautiful garden nice bed.
The pool was a bit dirty and no mattresses on the sun beds. breakfast was just ok. A bit far away from the center.

I did not have much breakfast since I am always looking for breakfast from the local warung
Maybe for the one bedroom pool villa, the door/wall should be a little bit higher for more privacy. Other guest still can see us swimming in the private pool.
