The places is very clean and recently renewed with 2 separate bedrooms; it’s located at the very beginning of Ortigia, near the fish market. Good starting point to explore Ortigia and Siracusa.

We did not like the lack of a tiny kitchen area, only a table and a coffee machine are provided, but no way to wash what you used. Also, the apartment is located at 1st floor in a tiny street with no access to vehicles, and no elevator, therefore consider to carry on your luggage (you must do it by yourself).

It is a beautiful area and building, the room was spacious and the shower was good. The staff were friendly and helpful.

For me, the bed was exceptionally hard. I think we were unfortunate that the time of our stay coincided with an outdoor party around the corner on our first night (I know, how dare people have fun, right?), and the joyful sounds of little children running outside on the street. The door opens directly into the street, and I am a light sleeper, I didn’t sleep well day or night, but hopefully you would! It was handy to have breakfast available on site. There is a coffee machine, but only 2 capsules, extra are €1 each. Small (individual) bottle of water in fridge on arrival and a couple of local sweets, much appreciated.

Nice rooms with aircon. Good large bathroom.

Stairs were extremely steep and quite dangerous. Not recommended for left people. The remote for the tv was missing. It was mentioned to the staff but nothing done. One of the remotes for the aircon didn’t work.

Non la miglior posizione, ma dentro Ortigia va bene tutto.

La struttura non è esattamente come appare nelle foto. Potenzialmente è comunque migliorabile, il divano letto è sporco e piuttosto rotto. Per come è ammobiliato e mantenuto non può definirsi un vero boutique hotel, ma solo un nome usato per marketing. Per fortuna anche il prezzo non era da boutique hotel, ma da hotel 3 stesse. Un consiglio, essere più oggettivi sono certa che migliorerebbe le recensioni, perché rimanere delusi da un nome altisonante e da foto troppo promettenti porta il cliente a sottolinearlo nelle recensioni. Al contrario essere chiari porterebbe maggiore soddisfazione. : )

Excellent location, the apartment was very nice. Denise was extremely accommodating throughout our stay.
