The location was amazing.

On the first night, we ordered a dinner from their to order menu, since they don't have a restaurant. When we got to the hotel, we were surprised to find out that our dinner had been eaten. It was mistake from other costumers. The staff promptly improvised and cooked us a simple dinner but not the one we ordered. Our surprise came when we paid the bill for the stay where we saw that we were being charged the full price of the dinner (5$). We were very dissapointed because we paid for a service we did not get as it was stated.

What a wonderful place in a jungle away from the noise. The lodge has a yoga studio, a working area, great kitchen facilities and cozy rooms. The approach of the owners, Claudia and Javier, is to live in harmony with the nature and this principle is followed at the facilities. Multiple breakfast options to choose from - all delicious and filling. It even has private access to a river.

One has to take a mototaxi to get to Tarapoto (costs approx. 30 soles)

Chirapa Manta is an incredible place surrounded by nature. You can hear the sounds of nature all the time and see many butterflies and other small animals. The accomodation is beautiful and comfortable, and Claudia, Javier and the staff are amazing hosts, always available to guide and help. I did the Harmonization program and I highly recommend it. I hope to return one day. :)

Everything, from the food to the hosts and staff, location is amazing if you like your own peace and quiet in the middle of the jungle

Perhaps the coordination with third parties for full day trips could be a little bit improved.

This is a beautiful jungle eco-lodge. We were only able to stay one night but really enjoyed the peace and tranquility of this lodge and which we had had more time. We packed in 2 activities, enjoying a yoga class and a hike organised by the lodge. Both were excellent!

The food was quite expensive but delicious!

The location was great - it felt remote but was also close enough to the nearest town to walk. It was lovely falling asleep to the sounds of the jungle. I ate there every day and for the most part the food was good.

I think having dry toilets is a great idea in principle but it was quite noticeable (even on arrival) - maybe the design or frequency of changing compost could be looked at?

Great place to escape from noisy towns We were in a budget so we didn't order much food or extra service like tours, but there have many good options to choose from. Very good breakfast with plenty of fresh fruits and coffee

The mosquito net around the bed could be improved
