Lovely bedroom beautifully decorated and very comfortable.

Check-In was very good - we arrived at 8am but they let us into our room immediately although normal check-in time is 2pm. Lucky for us our room wasn't occupied. Breakfast was good with a decent choice and nice full English. Eggs were a bit over cooked and black pudding rather dry.

WiFi was very patchy - you had to keep logging in. Worst of all, the shower heads in bathroom (two of them) of Highcliff Room leaked everywhere making bathroom wet. Should be an easy fix but it wasn't done.

Everything! Our stay at The Canford as always was a relaxing and very enjoyable time! the staff are very professional and very welcoming. Every time we have an amazing holiday. thank you.

A happy find.

Room was very clean and spacious. Lovely roll top bath as well! It was a 5 mins max walk down to the promenade, which gave us brilliant access to both Bournemouth and sandbanks! Will definitely come back.

Reception was confusing (was our booking mixed-up with another guest?). Exit procedure for an early departure was not made apparent despite our informing reception at check-in.

The room's snack and minibar possibilities were great, I was impressed.

We got back after midnight from a dinner out and We could not get in the door we went in originally. The side door which we should access through after 11pm was not mentioned when we arrived, and was not highlighted well on the paper, we were standing around for quite a few minutes to figure out what is going on.. and the phone was unavailable to call the reception, also the same time was noone at reception when we finally got in.

Very nice ambience, location, and staff

having already paid a booking.com fee for my visit, I was again charged by the hotel check in and am now having to submit evidence of this - bank statement copy and hotel invoice in order to avoid paying twice. Hotel menu for mains a little limited but staff were helpful in making informed choice.

Unique boutique hotel with immaculate rooms. All of the team running The Canford were friendly and helpful, nothing was any trouble, we felt like we were staying with friends. the rooms are beautifully decorated and they have thought of every small touch in terms of room amenities. Breakfast was exceptional. we can’t wait to come back!

Amazing location close to the beach, only a lovely scenic 10 minute walk. Facilities onsite are great too, large outdoor area with good food.

It's not cheap but it is good value for the location and room size.
