I spend a night with my wife here, and i can say this place is amazing. The staff and services are world-class. the memory of having delicious fresh made food by the beach will last forever. we will definitely gonna go back again. Thank you, Zanzibar Bahari Villa, for the memories.

The property was very clean in a very good location. Amazing, tasty food at their restaurant and I throughly enjoyed having my breakfast with a sea view. All the staff were so helpful always making sure I was most comfortable during my stay. The rooms were great size. 10/10 experience would definitely recommend!!!

We had an amazing week at Bahari Villas and definitely recommend the place. Overall it strikes a great balance between price and quality. Amongst the positive aspects there is the big pool and the nice restaurant with a view on the ocean. The garden is also very beautiful and well taken care of. The staff is also very nice and helpful and will do everything to make your stay as great as possible. They for instance cleaned our car several times without us asking for it. They also clean the rooms every morning and come to prepare and put antimosquito spray every evening. The breakfast is good (eggs, pancakes, vegetables, sausages, fruits, juice, etc.) and will allow you to go through the day with only a very light lunch. The location is also quite good as Matemwe beach is a beautiful long beach which is not too busy compared to other beaches like Nungwi or Paje. You can find boats to go to Mnemba Island directly on the beach in front of the hotel. Matemwe beach is quite a windy beach however but it was not a problem for us. It is also a good spot for kitesurfing and snorkeling when the tide is low.

The vegetation was beautiful and how the houses where located. Kind and helpful staff! Nice lactation of the restaurant area by the pool and beach. Nice outdoor shower and balcony by on of the rooms. Helpful wich helping with package delivery!

The pool shower was poor and the stones uncomfortable. The pool had a water outlet wich has a very strong and somewhat dangerous current. Sadly that my daughters teddy bear disappeared. Kitchen was kind and good service but raw chicken sandwich and didn’t quite match my children’s European taste. It was difficult with all the people waiting and following you on the beach. Since you can hurt your self in the water the hotel could offer water shoes.

We stayed for 3 night, they never did the room service, I even had to take by myself the toilet paper on the public bathroom of the hotel. For the price I pay I think it's a minimum service to give 😅.

Room is really big with a nice balcony overlooking the garden. Great pool (tide when I was there was low all the time, but can't complain, I understand this is how it works and I like it too). For a solo traveler maybe can be too quiet. Overall, it was a good experience.

Bathroom was a bit smelly. Before night time a person comes in if for preparing the room (I think guests should be informed about it when checking-in) putted too much insect spray into the room and had to keep the window open for a little. Wi-fi not working really well if you need to work. It made my working days a bit complicated.

Lovely place at a budget. The staff here are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is on a beachfront hence beautiful views and breezes especially from the restaurant. Though the rooms do not have a beach view, there are some beautiful gardens to compensate.

Restaurant service for lunch and dinner was delicious but wait times were much too long. Room was lovely, cleaning staff thorough but Air conditioning in the room and in other’s was not working and was never fixed.

Great location in the middle of the long beach at Matemwe. They were able to arrange transfers from the airport. Most staff were very friendly. The manager was helpful (but only because we had to speak to him because of other issues). A nice terrace by the pool/beach.

There were several power outages during our 4 night stay. Most were minor, but one was extensive and so we had no running water or air conditioning for a whole evening/night. The restaurant also gave me a chicken sandwich after I ordered a vegetable sandwich, despite my being vegetarian, and because the lighting was so bad during the power outage I ate some of it. This was also after waiting over an hour and a half for it. Some of the restaurant staff were rude when we asked them about the delay to our food. There weren't any sunbeds available on the beach which was a shame. This isn't a problem for everyone, but be aware that the hotel doesn't serve any alcohol.

Pictures in booking and website not fact, as the reality is very disappointed. Room is small and there are insects , no tv in the room despite of we booked deluxe room, the restaurant is very dirty, no chairs in front of the beach. There is bad smell in every where.. how this hotel take 4 stars!!! Really is bad experience. I don't advise any one to go to this hotel!!
