Staff was friendly
Gym in a far away separate bulding, breakfast also in a separate building and very crowded, most restaurants/bars are closed most of the time, no beach service, something seemed wrong with this place.

The staff at the reception and especially their manager have very poor knowledge of the hotel industry in general. With their ignorance, they created problems for us every day and made our stay unbearable.
Either they tried to steal from Booking.com or they don't have any knowledge about booking accommodation and the general billing procedure and everything else.
every day they attacked and chased us in the corridors as if we were criminals because they didn't know how to see the payment even though I gave them all possible evidence (a credit card that they blocked, a report from the bank that the payment was made, a booking confirmation about the accommodation charged) and begged them to contact Booking but they didn't want to.
The cleaning lady's screaming through the corridors and make a terrible noise from 6 in the morning and wake up the whole hotel. The elevator is not working or you have to wait for it for 10 minutes.
All in all, I do not recommend this hotel to anyone, especially not with this kind of management.
The hotel has a serious problem with management and staff organization.

I loved everything about the Royal Cliff Grand Hotel. The room service was prompt, the infinity pool was amazing, the rooms were clean and spacious and the staff were friendly and professional. I would love to come back.
I loved everything. The location was a bit far from the city centre but this was a good thing because you're away from the traffic and loud party-goers.

I liked the pools , and the security staff they were very friendly and helpful
With the price I paid the hotel, I couldn't believe that you charged for a game on the pool table, and I had a bad fall and hurt my back because condensation was on the tiles leading out from the bathroom, and I didn't get compensated in any way , I have stayed at the royal cliff three times over the years, but I don't think I will be staying there any more , I was really disappointed with my stay this time.

The fact that they took our money prior to our arrival and charged us twice in error. This resulted in us having a shortage of cash for the last days of our holiday. In fact we are still waiting for a refund which will be in Thai Baht hence further fees to change it back to sterling when we finally get it.
All bars and restaurants in the Grand are closed so you have to use the ones open in the Royal Cliff Beach.
Taxis booked via hotel are significantly more expensive than if you book using GRAB.

The staff was brilliant and it was a very peaceful place. I was well looked after. Especially tourist security is well looked after. The place has git a very beautiful view. I would recommend everyone for this hotel. Staff is very very helpful
