Excellent central location in Volterra. Exceptional room with terrace overlooking town. Very well presented and extremely clean.

Breakfast was very good.

The airconditioning in the room was set to 24.5. Upon entering room for first time the receptionist said we could adjust down. I tried lowering the temperature but it was preset at 24.5. I went back to reception and requested lower temperature in room. Receptionist confirmed she would lower the temperature. When we returned from dinner the room temperature was still 24.5 and remained 24.5 throughout the night. One of the reasons I selected this hotel was because they offered air condition on their web site. I was very disappointed with the unmet promise to lower airconditioning and spent a very uncomfortable night.

The hotel situated in the heart of the Mediavel city of Volterra is excellent

Everything was excellent

Staff (Anna) was outstanding with her help. Check-in was easy and she helped with our bags to our room. Good directions on bringing our car to the hotel to unload.

The communication process with Booking.com was not useful. My emails went unanswered, especially regarding on-line check-in. The "green pass" is no longer required, even though it remains on your website. This lovely boutique hotel and its customers deserve better service from Booking.com.

The hotel is located down a gorgeous, quiet off road from the main square in Volterra and is situated next to some great artist studios, galleries and restaurants. The staff were so welcoming and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and offered lots of choice to suit all tastes. The room was air conditioned, compact but very comfortable. It was the perfect base for exploring Volterra and couldn’t recommend enough.

The wifi was broken for our entire stay and the room also lacks any phone signal.
