View from our balcony was stunning, very smooth check in, room is spacious with all the amenities you may need, bottles of water, tea, coffee, milk, chocolates, toiletries and roku TV which was good for the kids.

Everything it was like being in a horror movie staff banging doors late at night asking to come in for a fag. Not secure theres an open door around the side where the immigrants who work there come in and out of empty rooms to sleep. A man in his pants walking around the landing looking outside creepy place also changed our locks with everything still in the room as they double booked us and decided wanted throw us out after the first night. Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, really pleasant and clean rooms, comfy beds, sleep quality, quiet, WLAN is free but signal was quite low in my room. I would highly recommend this hotel, I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

Hospitality, kindness, cleanliness and service were there as expected. It is very central and walking distance of all local shops cafes and restaurants.

Wet towels (clean, I assume!) on the bed and in the bathroom. One socket in the bedroom with multiple extension cables. Steep steps into the bathroom and NO lighting in the bathroom. The bathroom was nothing more than a corridor. Just one light switch in the bedroom and no bedside lights. Kettle underneath the clothes rack. No other place to put the kettle or clothes. Photographs on their website do not reflect reality. No card reader is available, so I had to pay cash. The 'hotel' looked more akin to a run down hostel. When I asked for my money back, I was refunded MINUS one night as they claimed they could have let the room. When I pointed out they could not as they had broken lighting in the bathroom and no one could have safely used the room, they were immovable. We had to find alternative accommodation and were fortunate to find a room for one night and another hotel to accommodate us for the remainder of our stay.

Limited availability for a hotel and this was the most reasonable priced available. Great location.

Place is pretty run down, room we stayed in looks like had bathroom walls painted in gloss or something. The paint smell was quite bad and paint was all over the floor and tiles. Also no tv remove in the room not that we used it. Get what you pay for with a cheap stay.

Because I had read other reviews I knew what to expect. But perhaps notifying new guests that the hotel has recently been taken over and some parts may be run down would be a good idea, as I would of been shocked if I didn't know this.

The property was disgusting and very old (rubbish left on tables in entrance, room was not cleaned between guests), there was hair and dirty in the shower, bins were not emptied, floor had not been hoovered and sink was covered in soap residue. There was no staff present to raise concerns. No wifi whole stay.

Nothing I had the most traumatized nights stay in my whole lifetime!!!

Dirty, carpets were filthy n threadbare, guests were scary, manager was rude, my personal belongings were taken out of the room, there was no breakfast or bar or facilities to use!!! I lost a £50 gold earring down the back of the stone fireplace…the toilet was blocked…the windows were dirty n didn’t open or close properly!!! No towels on arrival…dirty kitchen area n dirty fridge!!! I would like a refund as I had a very upsetting and traumatic experience in that I had a massive anxiety attack n had to have the ambulance service come out to me n police were called because of my personal belongings being stolen (which I have not had replaced!!) Please contact me about this urgent matter!!!

Everything. The whole hotel was being refurbished.very cheaply by the look of things. Putting carpets down when we arrived. No staff around. Had to ask for clean towels and tea/coffee. No table in room so kettle and everything else on floor. Shower was a trickle at best. Only one plug socket which was dodgy. Tv didn’t work. Not a good experience.

On booking they stated there was bed and breakfast but there was no chef to cook breakfast so we had a long walk with two small children to find a cafe for breakfast and walk back again to collect our belongings and the staff couldnt speak english which was very rude wont be returning.
