This place was pretty cool, the room I had would be too small for 2 people but just great for a solo traveler. Facilities were good, clean showers, fridge. Location was good, follow the instructions sent on booking regarding getting bus to the guest house, its up a steep hill so don't want to be dragging luggage up there, bus drops you right there from the train station.

War sehr begeistert von den Schlafräumen. Man bekommt einen sehr großen Schlafraum (Doppelbett) und dazu sind die Betten super bequem. Gepäck wird separat (im Schließfach) von Schlafzimmer aufbewahrt, was super ist da es dann angenehm ruhig zum schlafen ist.

As you can see on the video the room was quite dirty and very dusty under the bed. Room was really warm, there’s a fan in the room but that just recirculates the air so woke up one night and had to have a shower because it was so warm. I can’t imagine it in the summer cause we came 29-31st dec so it was only 12 degrees outside. No hooks in the shower room? Hate it when places do this because i just don’t see the point. You have a shelve and basket which lives on the dirty shower floor which gets wet so didn’t want to put my stuff in there. Showers were okay but they weren’t the cleanest we’ve been to. Not only from a ‘mud from shoes point of view’ but also the showers themselves were just a bit dirty. You only get one locker when you’ve booked a double bed for two people. We could fit our two big bags in but our day bags wouldn’t fit in as well, seems silly not just to have two lockers? You can’t lock your individual room so have to leave it unlocked. I know some hostels you can’t but when you only offer one locker so people have to leave luggage in their room and there’s already a door they could easily put a lock on. Only two toilets between quite a few people which isn’t practical. People had to wait for the toilet which you don’t really expect. Big thing is they shut the kitchen at 10pm!!! No idea what that’s about but really inconvenient when you get back at 9ish after a long day and I was told to leave because I was making a pot noodle after 10. They also don’t open until 8am which is really late cause it means you can’t get up and leave early if you wanted.

2023年8月に利用しました。外国人の方が多い印象です。 箱根の少し坂を登ったところにあります。部屋は押し入れが少し広くなったような場所で一応鍵もついているのでプライベートは守られています。 徒歩圏内に居酒屋も数点あるので、飲食は苦労しませんでした。

洗濯はスタッフ用のものしかない（基本使えない）ので、長期滞在の方は要注意です。

Les bunk bed etaient très agréable pour deux personnes de 1m70 à 1m80. Le personnel nous a donné de bonnes informations et des coupons de réductions pour des onsens.

Stuff is friendly. Very comfortable bed and large cozy space to organise your stuff, large locker. Close to the K-line bus stop (Hakone-Yumoto station/Motohakone-ko)

Very lovely staff, very comfortable double beds, so far the best nights sleep ive had in all japan. Really appreciate the effort of cleanliness and helpful advice. Great place to stay away from major cities.

Everything was fine: a basic hostel for the night. The receptionist gave me good tips on restaurants and onsen. Ask about the discounted onsen when you buy the entry ticket from the hostel.

No complaints.

The private room was a good size and the futons were pretty decent. We were glad the room was air-conditioned, and a bonus was the private bathroom just out side the room, as thought we'd have a shared one. Location was pretty good about 10 min walk to main stretch. Staff were friendly and helpful and having a small bar on site was great.

For what it was we found it a little pricier, however not major concern.

very friendly atmosphere I liked the common places very clean and decorated with taste. I feeled at home here. the capsule room are well designed, spacious and with intimacy I recommand the izakaya 50m upper in the street to have a dinner because the bar of the guest house close early.

It is absolutely incredible here! Highly recommend! It is easy to find, the staff are so friendly and helpful, and it is the cutest place ever. I spent 2 nights here and I had the best sleep, the facilities were great and the bar has a lovely warm feel to it!
